America needs to turn around, re-group and move forward. Yeah, all this crap on TV (Lambert, King of pop crotch-grabbing, Grandma Madonna) needs to stop. "I'm an artist" BS doesn't cut it anymore. Why can't a art teacher expose him/herself and say "I'm an artist"? BECAUSE IT IS WRONG! There doesn't seem to be any morals anymore, no inner-self saying "this is wrong".

TRUE TRUE Adam! You hit the nail right on the head. If you weren't gey then there wouldn't be an issue! Also YES where are the parents ..It IS up to them to monitor what their kids watch. If you were anyone ele like Janet Jackson ..or any other female singer. Continue on being WHO YOU ARE Adam. Stand your ground...I love your style:)

Now if this performance was shown in a grade school classroom would some people get upset. Well it was done on national tv and yes many children were up watching it. Duh, its suppose to be music awards show not a fag sex show. I can just see the kids singing outside at recess imitating him. Its time that Hollywood get back to reality the world doesn't revovle around gay rights bullsit

Hey all.. Kids should have been in bed at that time, but even if they were not, what about Janet Jackson's crotch grabbing? Also there was one performer whose dancers lined up in front of them spanking each others ass. Adam was not the only provocative performer that night. I think people are just worked up because he is a gay male. He can sing and he is an entertainer. Just let it be.

Depends on the school and depends on the area. Those liberals in San Francisco [and other districts] would want a CD so they could watch it over and over with their children to show them a nicer, kinder, more lenient way. sarcasm******** The gay friends and family I have, have way too much class to shove their lifestyle in anyone's face or crotch. In fact, the gays I know, don't even advocate gay marriage. And they certainly do not advocate showing off their sexuality any more than my straight friends and family.

Sounds more like a decency issue to me rather than a gender issue. Whether it was a male or female performer, or a straight or gay performer, doesn't figure in. What he did was just over the mark regardless for national tv.

I say we should just ban him from intertainment, maybe he could make it in porn films.

I agree it is up to the parents to monitor what children are watching, but unfortunately everyone was taken by surprise about the content of his performance. There was no indication on the American Idol show and tour his performance would be risque, although apparently there were some clues during rehearsals. ABC and Adam Lambert are responsible for the content, and the viewing public (parents) should have been informed prior to the AMA's being aired. Then a parent would have been properly informed and decided if their children should have watched.
