The Network execs are Gutless hipocrits, they refuse to show anything about Mohammad, but they do not mind offending Christians, "in an episode aired during Holy Week for Christians -- instead featured an image of Jesus Christ defecating on President Bush and the American flag." As an American and a Christian, Am I not as offended as any Muslim by what they did air? Go ahead offend Christians and Jews but dont dare offend the Muslims.

I thought " South Park " was an equal opportunity offender? I guess that the network execs at comedy central lost their backbone. Looks like the terrorists have won

The censoring of the episode was disgusting. I hope Matt and Trey take their show elsewhere when their contract ends. Please, guys...leave comedy central...they don't deserve you. That was blatant liberal hypocrisy to the extreme. And unlike Tom Cruise, Isaac Hayes and the like, Matt and Trey will have a difficult time with any strident mocking of their "home" network.

I personally think that Satan and Saddam's gay relationship is hilarious

I think that maybe a gay threesome between Satan, Saddam and Mohammed would be great. Hell or have Mohammed go after TIMMY

What is relly funny is that if you all remember the South Park "Blaintology" episode years ago (It originally aired on July 4, 2001, just before 9/11) it had a Mohamed the prophet character AND NOBODY SAID A PEEP. It has since re-aired many times and still nobody says a peep! So maybe in this instance Comedy Central said no but I'm not 100% sure on that (Matt & Trey may have done that on purpose for effect).

My favorite part of the latest episode was that they had bart simpson as a character, very poinient since:

Bart = Nancy Cartwright (Celebrity Scientologist) who actively works at celeb center L.A. to recruit other celebs into the cult (i.e. Danny Masterson and his brother)

Funny how they have Bart change sides, I wonder if nancy would?

Can't wait to see the rest of the season. Oh and I love how the last clip of the opening this season is of cruise running into Stan's closet!

Tom open a can of worms by messing with Matt & Trey and deserves everything they can unleash on his cult!

One can easily see how the latter seasons of South Park have evolved from crude humor and wretched animation into works of satirical art discussing the most controversial current events. However, this last episode "Cartoon Wars" has spoke to me the most. The first ammendment's protection of free speach has always been a topic of controversy, the same with censorship in general. Ironically, it is one of the most controversial shows ever, South Park, that takes time off from offending marginalized peoples and demotes the Muslim belief of never depicting Muhammad. However, Comedy Central falls prey to South Park's message, not showing the prophet on this latest episode. I tip my hat to Trey and Matt for saying what needs to be heard throughout the world. If Muslim people are easily offended of just SHOWING the prophet, nevermind poking fun at him, then they need to mature several centuries and realize the Western World is far beyond thinking a single picture to be idolatry. EVERYTHING SHOULD BE AN EQUAL TARGET OF COMEDY OR ELSE NOTHING WILL BE DISCUSSABLE.

you all have no idea what matt and trey were trying to do by not showing mohammad. the banning of te image was a joke. southpark has shown images of mohammad already in the super friends episode with the religious leaders. he even has fire powers. they were making fun of the rest of tv for not having the balls to even address the censorship of not showing mohammad. again, they could have shown him no problem, but not showing him is alot funnier.
