What dictionary did you get that from? Oh, wait....you just made that up. Not too bright, are you? Homophobes usually aren't.

Where I live, we have our gays trained. They know their place and if they get out of hand they are put in their place real quick. We don't put up with their nonsense, and they know it and if they don't, they find out real quick. ;)
You seem to enjoy some sort of imaginary control over gay people. I guess that means ultimately you feel very weak and powerless. I'm sure most bigots feel just like you.

You can call me girl if you want, but the truth is that I'm more of a man and a far better one than you could ever hope to be. You're done here unless all you want to do is make an even bigger fool of yourself than you already have...

I have a question for the gay and lesibian community. Why is it that when you are out marching and protesting you are waving a flag around that looks alot like the flag of the United States but is missing the red and white strips, which you have replaced it with your rainbow colors. And what Country is this flag suppose to represent? You want equal rights under the Constitution of the Untied State but you don't march with the United States flagin hand?

No one has to tell me that I'm more of a man than you are, your own words prove that all too clearly. I told you that you were done because you had made it painfully clear that all you had to offer this discussion was juvenile insults and empty threats. Oh, and as for that empty threat, the last person who tried to to do what you said you'd do has to live with a daily reminder of just how bad of an idea that was. You'd be shocked at just how much damage you can actually inflict with a well placed knee to the groin.

Your delusions of your ability to get to me are even funnier than your delusions of your alleged manhood.... If nothing else, you've been entertaining.

Unfortunately, this thread has degenerated quickly, although I can't say I'm surprised given the topic. It always seems to bring out the worst in people.

I have little to add except to second what Rick in Kansas and Patrick in Texas have said. It's only a matter of time before gays and lesbians are fully acknowledged and protected in society. Polls have shown growing support for repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (now a majority of respondents) and for gay marriage (Prop 8 won by a much smaller majority than the previous proposition on the topic). If you break down the polls, you find support for gay marriage is inversely correlated with age (i.e., young people are much more likely to be supportive). This is what gets the bigots up in arms: they know that time and demographics are against them.

While I understand your having to project your own family's rejection and shame over your miserable life in the desperate attempt to feel better about your own failings, but you couldn't have been further off the mark about my relationship with my family than if you tried. Unlike you, I've accomplished quite a bit in my life, including my advocacy for LGBT civil rights and my family has been with me every step of the way...

You're once again projecting your own family's embarrassment of you onto others who simply don't have the same experience. Whether you like it or not, just because your own family is ashamed of you and as well they should, that doesn't mean by any stretch of the imagination that my family is ashamed of me, they have no reason to be. You can keep flailing if you want, but it really doesn't matter how many different names you post under, all you are doing is further embarrassing yourself...

I am not sure how many marches or protests you have been too, but I have been to a lot in the last year.

I have marched twice in San Francisco, three times here in Sacramento and earlier this month in Washington DC at the National Equality March.

Every single time I have seen not only the flag you are referring to, but the standard United States flag as well. Some of the time the same person is holding both.

The rainbow flag with the 50 stars is a representation of the equality this country is supposed to represent, but doesn't.

In case you didn't know, each color of the rainbow flag has a different representation.

Red = Life
Orange = Healing
Yellow = Sunlight
Green = Nature
Indigo = Harmony / Serenity
Violet = Spirit

Originally the flag had 2 more stripes:
Hot Pink = Sexuality
Turquoise = Magic

The hot pink stripe was dropped due to the scarceness of the fabric, and the Turquoise stripe was dropped because the center stripe was obscured when hung vertically from a flag pole.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Taurus

This is a day for turning your attention to your finances, especially if you're currently working on the budget for domestic improvements or changes. Talk to the other people concerned and really listen to what they're saying. They'll have some great insights. It will be far more productive to work as a harmonious team rather than as warring factions.
