Michelle Obama! I was so surprised to see her on there, although it is great publicity. Sesame Street really does something valuable for our children. Happy Birthday Sesame Street! http://tinyurl.com/yl458pk

40 years of great memories! I'm suprised to see Teeny Little Super Guy (8 of 26) mentioned in this article. I'm also suprised that Sesame Street never had any plans to spin-off this great set of sketches into its own series. If you wanted to create a list I would call it "Top 40 Sesame Street Sketches That Should Have There Own Spin-off". Many of you would want to put Teeny Little Super Guy on this list. I would put him at number 1.

Congratulations for this wonderful presentation. It brings back great memories from when I was a kid. In my opinion Sesame Street is the best kid show around and you definately played tribute to the 40 years of educational entertainment.

My sister and I grew up on it. Both my own girls loved it. Sesame Street is the best. My older daughter, at two years old, would get herself perched on the couch waiting for it to start. As soon as the theme song began, her arms and legs would begin flailing a mile a minute in excitement. In our family, "C" is for cookie!!

Can't forget Mr. Hooper.

Also anyone remember the other Gordons?

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Cancer

You feel the urge to move onward, powered by your wisdom: when you're right, you're right. You may feel that any further explanation is unnecessary, but the people you're dealing with might need it spelled out for them. Take the time to draw a picture or use smaller vocabulary words to get your point across, Cancer. A public demonstration will probably prove to be the last word on the subject.
