This article makes perfect sense. The statistic part of it should be taught in all schools beginning with the sixth grade. If the girls understood that they must be the responsible party in stopping the fatherless children, perhaps in under ten years they can stop this trend of boys not furthering their education and a return to two parent families. And hopefully the boys would understand where education is worth the work, and stay in school. The statistics would show them where they are headed as drop outs. You don't have any hope of a decent job when you don't at least have your high school diploma. The job situation is at a all time low, but that is no excuse for giving up on education.
