The finale was deplorable in content. Above and beyond the total disregard for any moral standard this episode included violence and brutality that is inappropriate for any showing on broadcast television.

I felt the same way. It sickened me so much, I turned the tv as fast as I could, and missed some of it, then turned it back on when I thought the scene was passed, only to find it worse than I thought possible, so I HAD to get it off even if I missed the end. This is something I don't think I've ever done. I have been watching this show since it started, but now I wish it would get canceled- or at least fire whoever was responsible for putting that on.

I thought that this episode went too far!
There are some things that truly cross the line and should not be aired on television and this episode was it! I couldn't even watch! Terribly upsetting!

I was away Thursday when the show aired and taped it to watch when I returned home. Arriving at my hotel room at 10:45 I thought why not watch the last 15 minutes. What a mistake! I have seen awful things on TV but this one takes the cake. When I returned home I rewound the tape without watching sure that I missed the horrible events that led up to the ending.

Worse season finale I have even seen (at least the last 15 minutes)

I watched the show last night from my DVR. It was a great show and I will continue to watch it. It's a late night show, and most children are already in bed for the night, not sure why grown up people are sickened, disgusted or horrified? It's a TV show folks, and it's drama. They don't always have to be true to life, it's like reading a book, it's called imagination. It's a great show and I love the characters. I feel much emotion when I watch it, which is what makes it so great! I will definately be there for the premiere next season to see if Violet and the baby are ok. The rest of you folks should go to bed early! Keep up the great writing! Love Private Practice!
