I bet 50 bucks she cuts herself wide open in the first episode. Perhaps a burn in episode two. Falls and drops the food she must present. Wow this is great maybe next year they can put a downs syndrome chef on. Chef corky the cake whisperer.
Wow. You clearly are an ignorant ass.

Sigh.... Why do people believe that individuals who are blind are completely incompetent?? Do some research, meet a blind person, learn what they really are capable of. I would be shocked by the asinine comments made here but for the fact that ignorant people usually are the first ones to display their lack of intelligence and compassion - and, as evident by oral roberts, are proud of it.

sometimes i wonder if she really is blind just because of the way she acted during her audition. she made eye contact with the judges, she glanced over at her tray, and she said,"i've been blind for about maybe 10 years?" and my mom said,"When you go blind, you KNOW how long you've been blind." But for the most part, I believe it. And assuming she really is blind, well, she deserves her apron as much as everyone else in the Masterchef kitchen. She cooks good food without being able to see it. Some people on the show couldn't cook a good meal if they had 20-20 vision.

During her audition, i had my doubts about her really being blind. It was the way she looked the judges in the eye, glanced over at her tray, and estimated how long she'd been blind (if you went blind, would you take a stab at guessing how long it's been? Or would you know exactly how many years it had been? for me it'd be the latter) I'm not a Christina hater though. Her being blind doesn't mean she doesn't deserve her apron. She's a good cook without being able to see. Some people in the Master Chef kitchen can't cook a good meal with 20/20 vision.

I agree... and if you look it up, she isn't even legally blind. Unlike my college friend who WAS legally blind.

Yet he could see well enough to read most text for short periods, walk without a cane, recognize most people by sight, and although he wasn't supposed to, he could still see well enough to drive on city streets...all while being legally blind.

I noticed the same thing...looking at her product, able to use a knife and arrange things, then later somehow totally unable to see a tray that is 12 inches in front of her....

at best she is an insult to people who ARE legally blind. Nice gimmick though.
