Nearly as well known in England as Gordon Ramsey. that's like saying that the chicken is nearly as well known as the egg.

Actually, Mr. White did some cooking on the show (kidney's, lobster)

Unfortunately, people seem to prefer the cartoon that is Hell's Kitchen US.
As for the 'bullocking' Gordon Ramsey is just doing his Marco Pierre White impression and that is getting tiresome particularly since most of the so-called professional chefs seem to be so incompetent that the show is mainly about the screaming and yelling.

NBC really failed on this one as they've failed on many others. It's too bad that we will not see him again in action as was the case with Hell's Kitchen UK or the Great British Feast. Chopping Block may not have started out with a strong format, but it did progress well. Had NBC followed the same pattern years ago, we would not have seen more of Seinfeld, Saturday Night Live among others that began with low ratings.

It DID finish though, right? I saw a couple of weeks there last summer that I'm sure was the end. It wasn't exciting like HK but worth watching. I think MPW is a dumbo. Has absolutely NO karma whatsoever.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Leo

Perhaps it's the fact that it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy, but you can't help feeling that you're walking on eggshells around certain people. Their emotions are very close to the surface and could erupt at a moment's notice, perhaps in a storm of tears or a fit of pique. Calm them down and ask if you can do anything to help.
