Former Stamford restaurant owner charged with vandalism

Local restaurateur Sabatiello "Sammy" Settembre caused more than $20,000 worth of damage to his former Bedford Street restaurant sometime before he was evicted from his Italian steak house this past December, police said.

This guy goes on national TV, acts like a total jackass, and expects people to believe he didn't vandalise his own place? Not only does Sammy have no class, he's pretty spiteful, too.

His place in Cos Cob was gross, while in Stamford he was obnoxious to his customers all the time..just not when he was on that TV show, and his new pizza place in Riverside lasted oh about 6 months...heard he got kicked out for not paying his rent...This man is pure trash he should just throw in the towel!

i saw kitchen nightmares when the owner was on there and i can tell you never ate there or know the guy but i would never go there with an attitude like his come on the guy was an ass he probably did it

On a personal note, I went on a pity date with him in the beginning of the year - he's a sleazeball who thought dinner at a nice restaurant entitled him to more. Clearly he performs similarly in both his personal and professional dealings.
