Unprofessional & supremely ignorant owner with a Napoleon complex to boot. He treated me with incredible disrespect and reading the other posts I see it was an epidemic not an isolated incident. He doesn't deserve to have a successful business, especially since he refuses to follow rule #1 of the service industry: the customer is always right. I can't wait for a better restaurant to take his place. Sometimes you do get what you deserve.

Had a delicious filet at Il Falco on Broad Steet Saturday night. Huge portions (really too big). Il Falco has atmosphere, class and a delicious menu.
If you cut out every statement in the show that had to be bleeped, show would have only lasted 15 minutes. They owner can't utter a cogent thought without using 4 letter words.

Read all the comments on here...people are not saying the restaurant isn't their favorite, they all seem to harbor anger over the way they were treated. That's hard to bounce back from.

I see a name change coming.

Has anyone been to Capriccio? That's a great little spot just steps from that train wreck called Sabatiello's. Capriccio has good food made with fresh ingredients, a great atmosphere that feels like being in Italy, and nice attractive waitresses. In the summertime, it's nearly impossible to get a seat. I wish the owner, Giovanni, would move to the end of the block, and buy out that barely evolved ape named Sammy.

I guess not surprisingly, I think the restaurant is closed. I walked by last night and it seems to be closed down.

Funny thing is that I tried to go there just a week ago for a drink on a Saturday night (I loved their martinis), and when we opened the door, they rather rudely said they were closed for a private party (there are two bars in the place and it certainly wasn't packed). I thought, is this place in this economy in a position to turn people away?

I watched that episode on hulu.com and am certainly glad nor shocked that it closed.

I generally like Italian people but Sammy is WAY too arrogant for my tastes. I lost count on how many f-bombs were dropped...pretty amusing though considering it's broadcast TV.

My girlfriend and I were attracted by the location and outdoor seating when we ate there a year ago. To me the problem is clear bad food and high prices. Gordon was right, the food is tasteless. I'm not suprised the microwave is the preference in the kitchen.
I was glad to see that the kitchen was sanitary but I probably won't go back, especially after hearing these reviews. If I want to spend a similar amount for great food I will go to Bennetts, Napa, or Dragonfly.
i agree
