Tonight's premiere of the seventh season of Hell's Kitchen promises to have the old stuff - chefs bungling up, Gordon Ramsay throwing a fit, diners waiting forever for their dinner - and then some, considering that the contestants seemed to be an "uneven" group of ...

I used to work in resturants with wackos like Ramsay, sceaming and yelling, creating a stressfull environment, telling eveyone to get out, throwing pots and pans and making everyone hate thier job. Well all the resturants that had wackos like Ramsay running them have all closed down. Nobody wants to work for powertriping, abusive jerks.

I have and you are nuts! Ramsay types make it worse. just a power pig. I would not eat his cooking if he paid me. He is a prime example of what is wrong today! All rude and entitled and no reason for it.

I've worked with a Ramsey type at a private country club and absolutely loved the experience. It really kept me on my toes and pushed me to be the best I could be.

There is no room for tender feelings in a high power - fast paced kitchen.

You what they say, "...if you can't stand the heat..."

I agree! The rest of these nuts on here would say, "...uhh...what's a top?"

When you're slammed...a Ramsey helps to keep your focus from drifting!

First off, GR is HOT. I would love to work in a kitchen under his direction. His talent is astounding. He didn't get to be a world class chef sitting quietly by

If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen- the selfish, egotistical chefs think thier the only ones who are in the weeeds,(when everybody is slammed) and start freaking out like little virgins with thier first period and make everybody else screw up even more with thier big mouth bull sh#t. Did you ever notice how the real chefs in France dont have to scream at any one, you walk in thier kitchens, in the middle of a rush, and you can hear a pin drop, they have control and are real pro's.

lots of cities with fantastic food understand the necessity of being on top of things, there are too many idiots, dope-heads, pill-poppers, and others who are masquerading as "chefs" in a lot of cities. one city that must have the absolute worst and/or nonexsitent upscale food is MEMPHIS, TN. Unless it's bbq or nasty mexican, the chefs there don't know what they're doing. Chicago, yes, Atlanta, yes, NOLA, yes, and yes to DC and Miami

He about got his a$$ beat last season talking to that guy like he did, and being the typical punk he is, he had the stage hands step in before he got knocked out. Once again proving that people run their mouths then expect others to back him up. He's a punk and causes more stress in a kitchen than helping.
A true master commands respect in the kitchen by action, not yelling like a small child.

Ha, LOL, I am not a fan of the show, watched it once and felt bad because he got someone fired, which I didnt think was really called for, Ramsay just did that for the drama, it was mean and probably the only reason anyone still even puts on that show is because they are just waiting to see him get frying pan bounced off his head. LOL.

Mollycoddling is no solution for incompetence. I am appalled by the cigarette smoking these "cooks" do constantly. How can they taste anything? One of the best young chefs I saw on Hell's Kitchen was Sara Horowitz.

Does anyone know who last season winner's Holly's guest Bachelor chef "chris" was? He looked familiar to me like he was on another reality show, and it's driving me crazy that I can't place him.
