I got my hair done here while the show was going on. One of the hair stylists was so nervous during the filming. I am pretty sure that I heard her fart a couple of times as she walked past me. It was kind of funny. I was happy with my hair though.

I would never want my business featured on this show. She finds all that is wrong with the salon, staff, etc. The owners and staff are not painted in a good light. some people will do anything to get on TV, but this is a sure way to kill your business.
No thanks

This salon is a joke. Calling it up-scale should be considered criminal. Most of the hair dressers are young and have little experience, the teenage drama in the air is so thick you can almost taste it and the staff in general is unprofessional and that starts with the owner. I wouldn't be surprised if she were barely breaking even on that business. Within 5 minutes of being in the place I heard about which girl was anorexic and which had been in porn...get serious

This comment seems a little far fetched. Did they do a good job on your hair? Tabatha is great. I can't wait to watch next weeks episode and see what happens.

I love Tabatha's show but as a rule the places she goes to are disgusting. Even after a "makeover" of the salon, I wouldn't be caught dead in any of them. If the owners/staff don't care enough about the salon to prevent roaches and moldy food laying around and displaying a stripper pole or sex toys(all things I've seen on the show, not from this particular salon)... I don't have any expectation they'll be any better after the makeover. If this was her marketing plan I think she'll get a few curiosity customers but this will not likely be a particularly successful marketing endeavor.

I was going to call and make an appointment, but after reading these comments I think I'll pass. Can't beat word of mouth as advertising either!

In my opinion this woman is pathetic. will go to any lengths for a dollar. all she wants is volume. who cares if they ever come back. By the looks of it.... she is so arrogant its disgusting. And as far as her staff she seeks out young unstable easy to manipulate girls, probably to feel in control because any normal person would not put up with that. Thats probably why she has no staff left. Ive gotten my hair done there 3 times and every time it with someone new because my "hairdresser went on to pursue another career" okay lady! A friend of mine originally referred me there because she used go there strictly for nails. she recently informed me that over 25 girls have quit this year all because of the owner and her outbursts. the last time i was there trying to give it one more shot she ran outside leaving her clients sitting there starring at eachother and never came back! I Personally i would never go there again...i mean maybe for some entertainment to watch a freak show but thats about it.

I'm not a fan either - I used to go there, and it was "ok" - way overpriced, definitley not worth it.

Far fetched? Read some of the other comments and get a clue. Or don't read them and use a logical thought process, it goes something like this: "hmmm I've seen these petty reality TV shows before and I know for a fact they seek out situations where there is drama, controversy and OH the new trend!!! disgusting condidtions!!!(see hoarders)"

Anyways, maybe I am bias because a family friend's young daughter was victimized by that lowlife owner. Either way the haircut was average to below average. I'd much rather take my business else where and I think a lot of other people will be starting to as well. Let that owner continue to scrape up the mere pennies she makes.
