May 11, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Hollywood Reporter

"The New Normal," "Smash," "Partners," "Go On" all get the ax, while Heather Morris -- who plays bisexual on "Glee" -- doesn't have a deal to return.

Anyway, is anyone here old enough to remember a show in the mid70s called "Hot L Baltimore"? It starred the great Conchata Ferrell (Two and a Half Men), and was about a run-down old hotel filled with prostitute, drug addicts, and one of TV's first gay couples! I remember they were two elderly gentlemen (one wore a beret!) but not much more. The show was based on the play "The Hot L Baltimore " by the wonderful playwright Lanford Wilson, who recently passed away. I think it was a Norman Lear production, too.

That show was brilliant! Charlotte Rae as the unseen Moose's mother; I remember he had glued himself to the ceiling of his room once. It was a very frank, non-exploitive show dealing with characters who would never be seen in prime time. They also cast people for talent, not gym-time.

As I recall, it was one of, if not the, first ensemble comedy casts. James Cromwell was the hotel manager, and it seemed like his character dated one the prostitutes. Al Freeman, Jr. was on, too, but I can't remember what he was. I don't really remember much about the actual episodes, however, I do know there was lots of controversy surrounding it before it aired, because of the gay couple. But that's about it as I was just twelve. I watched it, though, fascinated to see what a homosexual couple looked and acted like. Years later, I saw the actual play but couldn't compare it to the program-it was only on one season! Wilson knew his subject matter-he confessed in a Rolling Stone interview several years ago to have done some "hustling" himself in his youth! That's how to do research!

Is that the first time you ever got your face sticky?
Am I the reason you're disgusted?

I told myself I wasn't going to do this, but:

No.1 queer, I'm am not insulting any molestation victims. Yes you are, even if you don't realize it (but I think you do, and just don't care.) Every time you casually refer to them, it inures you to their struggles, even if you say it isn't so. No.2 wasn't making fun of the queer because he was mentally ill, just observed that it was a possibility because he was stupid, just like you. Have you read any of this man's postings? He's well-spoken, literate, and actually researches the subject before he replies! What's stupid is just saying the same dumbass thing over and over, like a teenager drunk for the first time. No.3 you ask if I wanted you to explain something? Are you kidding? You never even explained why you call yourself, stickyface. You just said it was self explanatory. I'd say my guess was right on. I have to give you this one- you guessed it! You're probably the only person on Topix who didn't get it, but.... It's a gay & lesbian forum. I'm a gay man. Gay men practice oral sex on each other. Sometimes semen gets on our faces, which is sticky. And we actually enjoy it! We have fun with it! It's not a sign of degradation, like it is with certain pseudo-macho hetero boys who still think queer is an insult. ROFLMFAO I'm glad you laughed-- I meant it to be funny!

Just me specifically? Care to expand on that?

Oh, yes, another lovingly-detailed account of gay sex by a supposed straight boy. BTW--you should look up "hygiene".

It's nice that you can talk to yourself, but since you're drinking, I'll help you out. You can't pick up kids on this forum. Get lost, fagg@t.
Why? So you'll have more space to talk to "filthy queers"?
