For the reason that Filipinos like to read news from all over the world. Filipinos know a lot of other countries but a lot of people from other countries do not know anything about the Philippines. In high school we report on current events local and international. It is only natural for Filipinos to read news from America for a lot of Filipinos fought and died for America during World War II. If you know your history, it was America's war against the Japanese and not our war.

I don't get it, Why is ABS-CBN News is bringing this news to Philippines news? There are too many issues in the Philippines needs to be in the news, like Why are Journalist being killed in the Philippines, How to improved people's lives, how to combat corruption in the Philippines, How to motivate young Filipinos to work, how to create jobs, etc. Why is this Jessica Sanchez? I don't get it?

Yes, he's a US NAVY ! He was born in USA! He's an American and have a Mexican blood. He married to a Filipina From Bataan, Zambales Philippines. They have 2 sons and a daughter Jessica Sanchez , all children born in USA. He's in a US Navy stationed in Singapore.
