They're still making that show? Ugh.

Oh, well, if people like it, they can watch it. Count me out, though.

I don't understand America's love affair with mediocre tv programs. The Bachelor, The Biggest Loser,(they certainly are) Big Brother, Survivor, etc. Don't you ever get tired of watching the same crap over and over? Your patronage of this garbage almost guarantees the end of intelligent programs, not that you'd watch them anyway.

And it keeps getting worse and worse. In a few years the most watched-show in America will be Dancing With The Teletubbies. A few years after that, people will simply happily watch bright shiny colorful geometric shapes float around their screens - "America's Top Screen-Savers". We must be properly dumbed down for easy conquest by aliens, ya know. Personally, I welcome the arrival of our new alien overlords. At least TV might get better after they take over.

So uninformed!

It's a singing competition, and tonight's first show, results of audition in the NJ/NY area, suggests that many very young contestants will go to Hollywood for the semi-finals.

And also this year, besides different judges, the 50/50 quota for male/female will not be observed. I believe there will be more females if the NJ audition is an indication.

American Idolatry, living down to it's name.

I've never seen it once, and everything the emptyheaded media says about it tells me not to watch.

Who cares? It will likely be it's last season. I must admit I do find it funny that J'Lo and Steven Tyler have no life and a dead-end music career, washed up, that they have to be judges on American Idol. LOL Although I don't recall J'Lo every really having a career in music or acting. Her being a whore and spreading her legs, definitely. Music/acting, no.

I think it was very good. I liked how they talked more about the contestants stories. It is nice to get to know these kids. The 16 yr olds I saw had the most potential. I would love to see a younger one win because with the success of Disney stars I think they could really do well. You never hear from some past winners. Steven Tyler cracked me up with some of his remarks. I will watch the whole season.

Absolutely HATE the show. I haven't watched the showsince EltonJohn was on and accued them of being racist and they then mistakenly voted Fantasia as thewinner however, she was not the best but the pressure to prove that they are not racist prompted that decision. I HATE THE SHOW, PAULA ABDUL was either crazy or on some type of drug, she did let it slip that they prejudge the talent before they perform, if you remember the incident were she judged the performance of one contestant before he had actually performed. I am sick of Randy's old a** talking about "dawg". I hate all the reality shows all of them are a bunch of crap!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna watch at least the first one. I wanna see if his past drug use has damaged Steven Tyler's brain. Can he speak coherently?

Any suggestions?

Maybe we'd be better off watching My Mother The Car or Mister Ed?

Can we fit in a few more CSIs or Law & Orders?

I watch reality TV PLUS news and documentaries. Imagine that!
