Have Joe Esposito or some of the Elvis Mafia that were with him way after Priscilla left him to introduce this. That is right she left him after only being married a short 7 yrs. I believe. He did not mention her in his will. What does that tell you about his feelings for her.Sorry whoever thinks this was a fairy tail romance,it was not.She said on the Today show that she doesn't even have pictures of him in her office for Graceland EPE

Why the hell do you Cilla bashers manage to turn every decent news story about Elvis into yet another excuse to bash the woman?

And why are you usually illiterates? Just what is a "fairy tail" anyway?

The Emmys are paying tribute to Elvis, which is great. But you had to spoil that with your anti-Cilla crap.

Pathetic.

Well maybe if you would consult your own vast information bank you would know why.
No I don't think anyone should ever let it be forgotten that she started having affairs only 4 months after Lisa was born, and then at least one more that lasted for 4 years. Then she sued Elvis for so much money she practically enslaved him. Why should we forget that, or let it go by????
The thing is, she should not have her dirty hands in anything Elvis. She should not be showing up at Elvis shows or events. That should be Lisa or maybe the president of a long time fan club that is NOT affiliated with EPE.

Isn't it just great that our Man continues to be right up there - I love it!
The first time I saw the 68 was on DVD and I have to say I stood in the family room with my jaw nearly touching the ground - I was gobsmacked to say the least, Elvis was just so in your face sexy, talented, electric, dynamic - all the words you want to describe that gorgeous creature. Even now when I view it I cannot leave the room for fear of missing something (odd I know)- I'm a true fan.
Was on another site and saw this notation:-
'Elvis should receive a posthume award for this'
I hope someone notes that and actions it.

Elvis is being honored by the Emmys (something that Wacko Jacko did not get) so STFU, old cow.

Brilliant. Steve Binder was some type of genius, for sure. That must be one of the few musical shows of that era to have stood the test of time. It never gets old.

I can't imagine that any man ever could look better than he did at that time - like some type of god.

Everyone has a right to care about it. I have no intention of "moving on".

It's a thread about Elvis being honored at the Emmys, you dumb cow, not an excuse for you to bash Cilla yet again.

I guess the words "Off Topic" mean nothing to you.

It's not off topic. Because, as usual, Priscilla has to use Elvis to get attention for herself.

The show is honoring ELVIS, moron!

The only attention she'll get is if the camera happens to pan to her, which it probably won't.

Honestly, you're such a hateful old bag, you can't even see when something is GOOD for Elvis and his publicity.

Oh, yes! It is good. But Priscilla, as usual, is using Elvis to get attention for herself.

It's good to learn a lot but then I was disappointed to learn that comeback in his time did not win a single award, and the homage that he will do this time is so simple and small, without distinction of honor even be a master .. I think Elvis was never given significant recognition in your life, it is inexplicable to so great an artist and did all the work that I find it unfair but I understand the era of Elvis q it was harder awards were reserved for certain groups and Artit conservatives, of course what they were going to reward a rebel who dared to move the hips and escadalizar the worthy parents?
happily all those who won prizes for Elvis and nobody remembers them well ... I think the tribute to Elvis 'THE COMEBACK SPECIAL 68' but it is a pity that this is not to reward the talents of Elvis awards and praise it deserves, Steve Binder did an amazing job, just like Elvis! A great show! Elvis Presley should reward you deserve it!

Never too late to reward a musical as big as The Comeback 68, deserves an honorary Grammy for what I mean musically, was the first "unplugged" HISTORY
