This may have been dicussed, but are there any plans to produce a doctor who episode showing the time war and Paul McGann's Doctor Who death scene and regeneration. I would really like to see that even if they have to recast Paul McGann's Doctor.
It could be a 8th Doctor meets the 11th Doctor episode with flash backs (or forwards). Could even throw the 9th Doctor into it.

Has anyone heard of plans for this? Or why they will not do this?

Recast the 8th Doctor...Oh the shame!

If recasting the 8th Doctor is the only way to get the story made, I will take it. The best of all worlds would be if Paul McGann reprised the roll.

In "The Five Doctors" they did recast the 1st Doctor in order to get the episode done.
