Dennis Miller??? Is he still able to get a gig? Frankly, I'd rather watch an evening of babies being waterboarded than to watch even five minutes of TV featuring this pretentious poser and ultra-conservative right-wing tool (emphasis on the word TOOL.) His over-worked cynicism and calculated smirk are as tired as his old-school approach to humor. He's a has-been and a hack, and I hope his show Amne$ia is quickly forgotten and totally erased from America's collective memory.

Will he still badmouth NBC on Fox News?

At the rate his career is going I expect Dennis Miller to be working on a cruise ship within 3 years.
However that said I am much more interested in why the press release failed to note Miller's weekly appearances on Fox News' O'Reilly Factor. Where host Bill O'Reilly trashes NBC on a nearly daily basis.
C'mon Dennis, who's bitch are you? NBC's or O'Reilly's?

NBC fired the last program guy and hired a game show/reality hack who's now bringing in all of his own failed ideas and anything cheap to produce. The idea was supposedly to save money. I guess it will when stations start changing networks to get away from the sinking ship. I won't watch Dennis Miller on anything. I'm also tired of the same old stuff with the games and reality furmulas. A great show is entertaining because of creative writing and excellent acting, not a new contestant doing the same thing night after night or the same fomula with a different topic. The NBC people are totally out of touch. Maybe they don't care as long as they save a few $$$$, but it's sad to see such disregard for the viewing public.

Almost every game show that started after 2000 has failed because these shows are recreating the "QUIZ SHOW" scandel environment of the 1950's. These shows refuse to put average players on tv because, in reality, these shows are not about the game, but are used as a vehicle for comedy or to showcase the host.
Just look at the pattern. If a show builds a following, in less than a year, regular joes are replaced by theme shows and guest celebrities. Shortly after, the ratings drop and the show is cancelled. WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN?
I firmly believe that any of the game shows that air during the writers strike will befall the same fate. Stop the masterbatory ways of programming and realize that people want to see others like themselves win, not overpaid celebrities and hokey gimmicks.

what's with these Miller jabs? just because the guy leans slightly to the right these days, is that reason for such hatred? he's certainly a successful man, he has 3 gigs at the moment and i don't believe he's ever not had something going on, he's had one of the longest running HBO shows and i think he had a pretty long stint on SNL..i should be so unsuccessful.
I like the premise of the show and I think Mr Miller will bring some smart humor to the 'game show' glib

Miller doesn't lean "slightly right these days". He leans totally anti-American these days.

Miller is one of the cowards who when America was attacked, turned his back on all of his previous values for the illusion of security provided by an authoritarian government. It didn't galvanize his spirit, it painted a yellow stripe down his back and down his pants.

This isn't a right or left thing...Bill O'Rielly's beliefs were strengthened as were Bill Maher's. The lesson they took away was "even in dark times, you stand up even straighter for what you believe in!" The lesson Miller learned was "turn your back on what you believe so hopefully you won't get hurt." And that isn't what America is about!

This show sounds like a ton of fun!! I think this will be one of the best shows on tv! It will be fun to watch AVERAGE people try to remember their lives. Come on people live a little and enjoy some of this great TV programming! This sounds like a wonderful show no matter who the Host will be. Dennis is a good guy!

I'll bet it is ALL mean spirited comedy with Miller on board. The man is an untalented twit who keeps getting fired...

I'll be glad to see Miller in a regular series again. I've missed him like William Henry Harrison missed his raincoat.
