it's good to have these kind of concerts on post so that the soldiers don't cause any trouble in the civilian community

So, what does that have to do with the topic or any other post. Or should we list the name of every celebrity who went, and all those who did not?

Kathy gets a bad rap. I should have read the article before posting though.
I didn't realize that he's only going to Washington DC. I thought he was going
to the mid-east.

Gary Sinise is FAR AND AWAY the most friendly,open,laid-back celeb I have ever met. What other celeb touring overseas pays for his own military clothing?? "If the soldiers are paying for thier uniforms, I'm paying for the uniforms" Gary Sinise...2007

You did not answer my question. The post was about Gary Sinise playing for the soldiers(he has also been overseas on USO tours). I did not see any mention of any other celebrity not did the other posts mention any other celebrities. Why would you bring up one particular celebrity name out of the blue? What was the point of your post?

Thanks Gary and the Lt. Dan Band and all the USO entertainers for bringing some cheer to our very deserving troops. Stop the hate, support our troops. It is in part, because of them that we are able to post our comments here, supportive, stupid or not.

Pround to say I am an army wife and proud of the things my husband does for this country. Thank you Gary Sinise for coming and giving our troops a chance to unwind and have a great time. To those who stated you don't want our troops having concerts in the civilian community is plain disrespectful. We are apart of this community as well as the military community. Once again thanks to those who give our troops the chance to be off-duty for a night even though they are never off-duty... my husband and I are thrilled to have a little date night we rarely have... GOD bless our troops and their families!!
