Olbermann embarrasses himself again & again & again

Former MSNBC host and Current TV’s chief news officer Keith Olbermann, tried to cover his tracks Thursday afternoon after implying on Twitter that he wished Planned Parenthood had prevented conservative pundit S.E. Cupp’s birth.

“On so many levels she’s a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does RT @meow_6 #worstpersons S.E Cupp bashing PP on Joy Behar last nite. http://j.mp/hktGUX ,” Olbermann posted.

Upon receiving a number of negative reactions, Olbermann revisited his sentiment, bringing the current debate about the actual work of Planned Parenthood into the mix and an ad hominem attack at Arizona Republican Senator John Kyl for good measure.

“.@oakdogg I said no such thing. Only 3% of PP’s work is abortions. Unless you’re moron Jon Kyl,” he posted, referring to Kyl’s exaggeration that 90 percent of Planned Parenthood’s business was abortions.

The more he backed away, the more evident the tenor of his original posting – that he wished S.E. Cupp had never been born.

“@JonesNetIT I never mentioned abortion. I said her parents could have used counseling by PP rather than get the results they did,”Olbermann wrote, adding,”@maggiefanelli no, I insinuated her parents would’ve helped the earth had they consulted PP for birth control.”

Olbermann was reacting to an appearance S.E. Cupp made on the Joy Behar Show Wednesday night in which she discussed the recent budget cuts and her qualms about funding the abortion provider Planned Parenthood.

An Open Letter to Keith Olbermann,

In response to your comment on Twitter that S.E.Cupp is “a perfect demonstration of the necessity of the work Planned Parenthood does,“ and that ”her parents would have helped the earth had they consulted PP for birth control”:

As S.E. Cupp’s mother, I have to ask: Have you no shame? No depth to which you will not stoop to insult an adversary?

My daughter was raised to express her opinion respectfully. I am sure you were as well. What happened?

You should know that her father and I are endlessly proud of the young woman she has become.

Sincerely,

Patricia Cupp

Olbermann graduated from Cornell in 1979, and he spent the first part of the evening reminiscing about his time as a student. He told the students that anything was possible — he took 28 credits in his final semester to somehow earn a communications degree.

Olbermann also took repeated jabs at conservative Ann Coulter, who founded the Cornell Review, a Republican paper on campus.

During a question-and-answer period with the audience, a student handed him a copy of the Cornell Review and he quickly crinkled it and threw it on the floor, pouring water over it and then wiping it up with the paper.

Olbermann, a lightning rod for liberal causes, hosted "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" on MSNBC for eight years, then abruptly quit the cable network on Jan. 21.

Less than a month later, he announced he was headed to Current TV, the public affairs channel launched in 2005 by former Vice President Al Gore, a Democrat.

Have you ever noticed how the COWARDS ON THE LEFT, always wish for or demand someones DEATH if they disagree with them?

Instead of having the decency or courage to continue debate, they will always resort to wishing Ill & death on their debate opponent. It's pathetic and why people realize that Jared Loughner Progressives are products of that Democrat mentality.

Olbermann All Wet on Waterboarding

Keith Olbermann got a lot of attention for Monday night's "special comment" on waterboarding, in which he described the White House as "a criminal conspiracy to cover the ass of George W. Bush" and told the astonishing tale, first reported by ABC News last week, of former Department of Justice official Daniel Levin. Charged with rewriting the Administration's legal position on torture, Levin actually voluntarily underwent waterboarding in 2004 to better understand the procedure before assessing its legality. Here's what Olbermann said Levin concluded: "Waterboarding, he said, is torture. Legally it is torture. Practically it is torture. Ethically it is torture. And he wrote it down." Then he got fired, naturally.

It's stirring rhetoric from Olbermann, as usual—only it's almost certainly 100 percent NOT true!

As quickly as Herr Olbermann will rush to attack other broadcasters, he is oh-so-careful not to upset his once corporate masters at A-Mess-NBC (before they Fired his azz!).

He'll broadcast flat-out fabrications, like claiming Rudy Giuliani's Presidential campaign is being run by--get ready for this--Fox's Roger Ailes. He'll even lie about the contents of a competitor's blog.

Keith "Man on Fan" Olbermann at his most desperate:

So eager was he to protect a possible NBC hire (Rosie O'Donnell) he doctored her words (sound familiar?) to claim she never compared US troops to terrorists. Then he blamed "Fox Noise"--another lie to protect his own sorry butt, since the people who accused Rosie of the troops/terrorism comparison were Joe Scarborough, Chris Matthews, and Howard Fineman--not on Fox, but on MSNBC!

First, the OlbyLie...

OLBERMANN: Last week Miss O'Donnell said, quote, 650,000 people have died in Iraq. Who's the terrorists? It seems like an obvious reference to President Bush, but not on Fox noise, which decided she meant American troops.

What was actually said...

O'DONNELL: I haven't -- I just want to say something. 655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. Who are the terrorists?

HASSELBECK: Who are the terrorists?

O'DONNELL: 655,000 Iraqis -- I'm saying you have to look, we invaded --

HASSELBECK: Wait, who are you calling terrorists now? Americans?

O'DONNELL: I'm saying if you were in Iraq, and the other country, the United States, the richest in the world, invaded your country and killed 655,000 of your citizens, what would you call us?

HASSELBECK: Are we killing their citizens or are their people also killing their citizens?
O'DONNELL: We're invading a sovereign nation, occupying a country against the U.N.
