semi-homemade appeal

Sandra Lee is a great Food Network (FN) chef who prepares dishes for holidays and everyday dinners that combine home-cooked recipes and store-bought pre-made products.

The idea is to combine ready-made foods common of industrialization with cherished and laborious festive traditional recipes. Examples of such combos include blackbird pie in pre-made basic crusts.

Lifestyle fosters attitude, so semi-homemade appeal is akin to a general emotional attitude towards ecological efficiency.

Does this social attitude explain the symbolic appeal of the Hollywood (USA) movie "Johnny Mnemonic" (1995)?

Are they printing movie posters on hemp/recycled paper yet?

God bless!
