'Sopranos' house really does exist

Hey. I'm from europe. I'm going over to NJ in May and really wanna drive up to the house and see for myself. I've heard that the area is gated and that i won't get to drive up there. Is it true?

I would so love to take a drive down and take a few pictures of the house. I am a huge Sopranos fan, and would be cool but I think the same, that I wouldn't want to annoy the real owner. I can imagine it must get frustrating. I wouldn't come onto the property as that would be trespassing, but I wonder if the real owner really doesn't mind. I talked to someone who went and even spoke to the person living there and they were really nice, but who knows. It'd be my luck I get arrested- ha

Actually, the INTERIOR of the house was used in the PILOT (first) episode. After that, they built sets of the kitchen, dining, living, family, bedrooms, etc at Silver Cup studios. After that they continued to shoot exterior shots (including the pool). Check the pilot episode out; notice that the 'fridge door is wood like the cabinets. When the built the set, they didn't duplicate that, they used a black fronted one instead.

Actually the interior shot are from the inside of the house too. The house belongs to my Aunt's friend. They just replaced all the photos inside with photos of the sopranos.

My last girlfriend's family lives a couple of streets away from Tony's house. I've been there dozens of times with family and friends just to take a peek at the entrance. A couple of houses down Tony's place, also lived one of the Unabomber's victims, and not far away is the house Lindbergh was building when his son was kidnapped; he never moved in. Around this area you can find a lots of places used in the series, including shots from the series intro. The cemetery frequently used in the series, by the way, was behind the building where I lived in Journal Square. Look for Jersey City Cemetery in Google Maps.

The house does exist.The entire first season was shot on loacation. After that a set was built for inside filming and all exterior filming was done on location.

So has anyone found a the CD-ROM blueprints of this house? It seems impossible to find and the website that originally offered it back in 2002 is shut down.
