We are in tough times.
Have not (yet) seen the film, but from what I read, Kirk Cameron offers some solid hope and answers.
Noting also...that Hollywood moviemakers were MUCH more in tune with the hopes, dreams, despair...of the average population a few generations ago.
Just peruse some of the better movies (both in quality and usually in sales/awards) of , say, the Golden Age (late 30s to early 40s).
