Is there anything to the rumor that Boyd is really behind all of this.

What a bully. If he gets his way (again) he will be in a position to railroad anything he wants ..... to cost the taxpayers many more millions of dollars.

There has been absolutely ZERO testimony by either of the first two witnesses that are grounds for removal under Virginia law (§24.2-233)....

The presentation by the prosecutor is laughable...

Had he been a wealthy lacrosse player his family would have given the victim a bushel basket of hundred dollar bills and she would have walked away laughing about the entire affair knowing that she was set for life! Reptile that he is he would be a much more highly regarded reptile if he generously paid his way through his stupid acts. He hasn't done this so I have no pity for him.

I know, I know he pled out to something that is just a misdemeanor but why not show some integrity (there it is again, that scary word that frightens both parties) make a public apology and just go away? If the people that elected you now regard you as a toad you should let that be your guide and act accordingly. This is why so few politicians use words like honor, dignity or integrity and of those that do very few believe in them.

So you'd pity him if he had the money to buy his way out of it? Nice. Maybe you should think twice before lecturing the rest of us about "honor, dignity, or integrity."

This Prosecuting Attorney is a straight up a**. I'd love to get up before the court and punch him in his face. He makes me sick, just listening to him. He is arrogant and rude and needs a hearing aid too I think.

As a matter of fact, I'd love to punch him and all the cops in too. I wouldn't walk across the street to piss on a cop if he was on fire. Cops and Lawyers are all immoral, low down, crooked pieces of crap. I don't and I won't trust any cop or any lawyer. Ever.

Interesting to note Ken Boyd coming up to the prosecutor and hanging out with him after court was dismissed. Guess they are buddies.

I agree that the prosecutor did not prove his case. His belligerence didn't serve him well either. Poor showing from Mr Doucette.

Harrisonburg City Treasurer Rebecca Neal may have been at work Thursday, but she may not be for much longer if some citizens gets their way.

On behalf of several concerned people, Rockingham County resident David Briggman created a petition ask the circuit court to remove Neal from office and possibly suspend her while the court decides whether or not she misused public funds. The petition is based on a state law that allows citizens to do this.

The petition sites information from search warrants used at the Treasurer's Office in Harrisonburg that allege actions taken by Neal were outside the authority granted to her under Virginia law.

"Given the gravity of allegations against her, I don't think taxpayer dollars need to be going to Mrs. Neal to fund a defense from her defrauding the taxpayers from the city of Harrisonburg," says Briggman.

In order to sign the petition, you must be a registered voter in the City of Harrisonburg. Briggman will be on the front steps of the courthouse Friday from 12 p.m to 3 p.m. to collect signatures. He needs 553 signatures before he can file the petition.

This joker has been incommunicado with his constituents since the outrage over his conviction in 2012! He betrayed public trust, and failed to perform his duties because he doesn't want to face the public. Meanwhile, his lawyer claims he went "above and beyond" in his duties.
The prosecutor spoke like a timid church mouse while the defense belittled the obvious deficiencies of Dumler's office. Please, do this right, and set some rules of conduct for public officials. Otherwise it's a waste of time, resources, and an opportunity to do the right thing.
