Bonuses

Somebody in our "watchdog" gov. bailout team wasn't paying attention - or looked the other way - at bonus time. Bonuses are traditionally scheduled at this time of year, and the amounts are often not determined or known by the recipient until then. "Bonus" should be an extra, based on performance of the company as well as the employee. In this case, rewarding for failure should not be an option. I have a relative in the banking biz, so I know.
