[The Verdict]

The case in this article is over and done -- the jury is in. I spoke to one of the people involved and here is how it ended

the Jury found that there was no sexual harassment, retaliation or hostile working situation in the company.

The jury gave Mary Beth Porter $4000 because the company did not have a complaint procedure in place

There was no other money involved

Funny thing is that Keith Fink (the lawyer quoted here who represents Mary Beth Porter) had to pay Oak Films over $5000 in sanctions because of the poor way he worked this case.

The Jury hated Paul Woolley and thought he lied about everything he said and they did not trust Christeon Gordon either

I was in the court opening day but missed almost the entire trial. I wish I had seen more of it -- Someone wanted this to ba very high profile but it looks like there was nothing there but a lawyer wanting everyone to listen him.

LOL Keith Fink won $4000 after countless calls to newspapers and amazing threats as to how he was handling this case. I guess you should call Keith Fink and associates if you really want to win small!

Keith Fink is the worst lawyer in Los Angeles -- I guess the jury wanted to send him a clear message that he is an idiot.

His best days must be long past as he did not win the debating championship this time. Go with Fink if you want to win small -- that is if you get lucky enough to win at all.

Where is Mary Beth Porter now? is she filing another case with her wonderful ($4000) attorney or is she getting a job.

1.He was never up for 300 years. He was looking at 3 counts of up to 9 years each. By my math that is 27 years if convicted.
2.You think the authorities didn't investigate this mom and dad. Of course they did and guess what they found, that it was Christeon!
3. It's you that is slandering these parents and this child. Be careful the LAPD is looking into this, you have already been reported. The real facts are as follows:

Keith Fink did even try the case and did not attend the trial. His partner Sarah Hernandez tried the case against Oak Films and won.

The jury found that Oak Films failed to prevent and/or investigation discrimination/sexual harassment in the workplace.

The jury found that John Yang sexually harassed Mary Beth Porter and found Yang liable for punitive damages.

The jury awarded $4000 to Mary Beth Porter but the case settled prior to the jury deciding the amount of money to award her to punish Yang.

No message was sent by the jury to Keith Fink, since Keith Fink was not even there. The message was sent loud and clear to Oak.

So contary to the above postings, there was other money involved and more of it to Plaintiff.

Someone that missed the trial should not be making baseless comments about an attorney he has never even met.

Keith Fink charges 50% as his contingency fee he charges all expenses to his client plus $300 per month for us of his computers. He pays more in sanctions than any jury will ever award for a case
in this case $5,400 in sanctions to Oak and a $4,000 verdict.
In the American Apareal case $30,000 in sanctions so far
Because Keith Fink turned down a previous offer (could never have taken it because he charges so much) Mary Beth Porter would have been iliable to Oak for considerably more than the verdict. I hear it is like a 25 to 1 in Oaks favor.
Fink even had a case against Target thrown out because he did not know how to fill out one of the court forms.

Yes I know about the battery charge. He goes to court on 10/22/2008. You can get infomation at the Sheriff Inmate Infomation Line. His scheduled time in court is 8.30am. Should be fun!!! Of course it was a battery charge against a woman (girlfriend apparantly) I'm presuming that's a diffetent girl than the woman who lives with him and had his baby and is sticking up for him no matter that everyone else can see that he is dangerous. He also spent 3 months of a 6 month sentence I believe it was for drugs but not a hundred percent sure on that one. He went to jail in February and was let out in April this year. He has 4 booking numbers against his name at the moment. I don't know if they are seperate offences or continuances of the Battery Charge, he probably has a violation of probation charge in there too.

Great attorney at least if he is suing you. No one should ever settle with guy as you will save money if you go to trial. He is not a "self confessed child molester", he stated not guilty, they threatened him with a bunch of made up charges and his lawyer told him that guys accused of this type of thing innocent or not...rarely come out of trial without some kind of charge! Being there was no evidence, it was her word against his! He was advised to take the minimal plea they offered rather than see if a jury would possibly cause more harm.
This woman couldn't handle that she was a fling on the side while he was married and decided to try to ruin his life! She threatened him when he told her he was leaving her...stated she would ruin him if he left. Before any of this happened he even told his Mother about her threats. We have proof, witnesses, phone call records, etc., that will completely clear his name and hopefully bring justice to her for making up such a horrifying web of lies! We've been told that perjury and false charges come with some pretty hefty sentences as well. She has attempted to ruin a man's life and I'm sure has created holy hell in her poor daughter's life. Her daughter absolutely is a victim, but of her own parents - especially her Mother - for using her daughter as a pawn to go after a man she couldn't have! You also have to ask yourself, if he was really guilty of doing what she claimed would they even offer such a plea deal? If they had a confession on tape that he did it, they would have given him prison time! They don't offer pleas to defendents that they have a solid case on. They had absolutely nothing on him except a crazy, scorned, drug addict, that had manipulated her daughter into going along with it and in the end said only "Mommy knows the truth"...hardly evidence. Christeon is guilty of adultery, lying to his wife and of making really bad choices with the women he got involved with. When he realised this woman was a drug addict he should have run but somehow he thought he could save her from herself. Now that Christeon has moved on, is working hard to get his life past this horrible lie and has a beautiful daughter...she once again is angry and is trying hard to spread horrible lies and see if she can make him miserable like she is. He rejected her repeatedly and told her to move on and get help(clearly she needs some serious psychological help) and now that she is getting old, past her prime and can't have him she is spinning her nasty web of lies. Do a little research about the justice system or lack thereof in California. We have the worst reputation of almost anywhere in the U.S. Attorneys from other states won't even deal with cases out here because the local government agencies have a reputation for doing what they want.
