I hope Elvis wins for "Young Man With A Big Beat"

To date, Elvis has only won three for his gospel.

Elvis deserves a grammy for his rock n roll.

Maybe, this time... he will finally get one.

It would be nice to have Elvis get some attention.

Amazing... they give Grammys for "do-overs" but current World music is cut from the program.

That's because do-overs are still better than current crap they call music.

They are only the nominations for the best historical recordings.

The current music wasn't cut out of the program.

OKAY, they "re-organized" it from 109 to 78 categories.

I wouldn't know because I never pay attention to award shows.

I don't buy my music based on if it won a grammy or not.

Why would I care if all of today's pop acts win grammy awards?

Most of them are so grossly untalented.

The case in point would be Eminem who raps about killing him mom.

Yet he wins grammies, right?

I commented because of the nominations for "Best Historical Albums"

At least, they were talented and would deserve an award.

There are many great artists that were never even nominated once.

I don't buy music based on how many awards they might get.

That is just plain stupid. An artist can be great without awards.

I don't follow award shows, but I still know who is current in pop.

Susan Boyle can win an award, but it doesn't mean I will buy her CD.

It means absolutely nothing. Do you only buy artists who win awards?

You must purchase music because others tell you to. That's stupid.

Lady Gaga wore a meat suit get attention. I didn't go and buy her CD.

I have standards. I listen to musicians who are actually talented.

If the artist were really worth listening to...

They wouldn't have to get attention by doing cheap publicity ploys.

Lady Gaga is another Madonna. Just another cheap talentless bimbo.
