NBC's 'Revolution' Review: More Than A Shot In The Dark?
NBC has a much-needed hit their hands, and it's not "Guys With Kids." It's " Revolution ," a riveting sci-fi drama from the mind of "Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke, produced by J.J. Abrams that could re-energize the institution of appointment television that's withering, thanks to iTunes, Tivo and DVRs.

Thank goodness my Hopper automatically records everything on CBS during prime time because I completely forgot to set Revolution to record, and I would have hated missing the premier. The first episode was epic! They have redeemed themselves for Guys With Kids in my eyes. The plot was amazing, the fight scenes were flawless, and it has Esposito. I couldn’t ask for more. This guy that works at DISH with me said that there is no scientific answer that could explain the disappearance of electricity. I think the action and mystery is enough to make me forget about all of that.
