The smugglers tunnel is like a hole in a dam. The water keeps on flowing even though the dam is very strong and tall. Fences are useless if there are tunnels. They should have some king of equipment that can easilly be used to find the tunnels. Also need to be able to shoot, or use any means possible to take these guys down. It would be up to the smugglers if they want to choose the death penalty or another line of work. They are laughing at us as they drive thier cars into the rivers and then are picked up by there associates. There is no one there to stop them. So they will never quit until lethal force is used to do so. But if the USA used lethal force the Mexican government would protest, as these same people mow down thier citizens unabated. Go figure.
Unbelievable

Until Nasty Napolitano stops the "use bean bags instead of bullets" we'll never get a handle on the border. Disgusting!

I always hear about how the bomb dropped on Japan saved many Japanese lives in the long run. These are things I have been told by Veterans. They say if had not been dropped the Japanese being proud people would have fought to the end. Therefore just about wiping out a culture. Many Americans would not be aroung today either. There would have been huge losses on both sides.

If you were to use brute force to take out the Mexican crimminals. They would eventually give up or there numbers would dwindle to a maintainable size. It would then stop the mass killings, or put a huge dent in the crimminal operations that are extorting, kidnapping and smuggling innocent people for the sex trade. Why? Because they would not be around to even think about it anymore.

Mexico stands to loose more people, and the USA stands to endure more gangs, and cartels that move into the USA to create havoc. These crimminals cost the US taxpapayers a lot of money in the courts, prisons and enforcement. They are of no benefit to a good society in the USA or in Mexico. These crimminals do not even think twice about killing an innocent person in Mexico.

War is a bad thing at any cost. But sometimes things have to be done to help the people.
