I love Basketball Wives!

My friend says that show is about Gold Diggers.

But i told him men like those type of women.

Maybe, not the gold digging type. But they are attracted, to the way they look.

oh please, this show and other tv shows are only greenlighted because they portray black women in a negative light. All for ratings, and black women supporting this trash have bought into the lie that this is "entertainment".

Its not just black women being portrayed as gold diggers. Houswives of Orange Country, New Jersey, New York all do the same thing as far as the portraying a fake life and digging for gold women. However black women are the ONLY ones blasted on for doing what ALL women do,..essentially the message is how dare black women expect anything than a life of struggle and poverty when in truth those bw physically on the shows have way more right to expect a nice life. Basically its a bunch of crap.

yes i know it's sad...we need to stop supporting those negative images, and start supporting the positve images of our race, and also we need to teach our history starting in Africa and then to where we are now! This is all important, because there were many African women that did a lot for our race like Queen Nzinga and Iris of Egypt!

The worst black woman on TV is Nene Leakes. She is a hot ghetto mess. Even Miss New York from Flava of love is not as bad as her.

One thing is for damn sure Americans seem to be drawn to drama filled reality shows and cop/forensic shows. Just check the tv listing of shows. Drama, Gossip, Murder. It's intriguing.

It seems to be the balance for a country that enjoys so much freedom and the assumed "happiness" that comes with it.

Constant "happiness" is too boring......I GUESS.

I've had nothing but negative things to say about these shows. However, I am going to give someone a chance to convince me that they're some good that can come out of them. I met LaTosha Lee (allegedly Shaquille O'Neal's mistress) recently and she's trying to set me straight on BBW.
