So what was your point? Are straight people without infantile and ridiculous commentators? Consider some of the following:
Fred Phelps and his entire family and church
Glenn Beck
Rush Limbaugh
Sean Hannity
Governor Mark Sanford
Shall I judge all straight white people based on the actions and words of these few? Shall I judge all of Christendom by your rants?
No.
Calm down -- I was extrapolating on your, "he's a whiny self-centered brat" comments.

But what the heck does religion have to do with EITHER of our comments? lmao........

This is the first time you and I have ever agreed on anything. I thank you for being fairminded and not defending and apologizing for this arrogant queen who encourages the negative image people have of gay men.
Didn't you just rebuke someone in another thread for using the word "queen?"

No, because he's a whiny self-centered brat. He's about as intellectual as Glen Beck.
He's a gossip columnist....sheesh!
Every time he outs some one, he does the entire gay community a favor. Why should closeted celebrities be given the luxury of hiding behind hetersexual privilege?

Okay, I'll admit that most people are familiar with drag-queens' caustic and bawdy "comedy" routines, but I wouldn't paint all cross-dressers with such a broad brush. I know what you meant, but I think we need to choose our words more carefully to avoid confirming vicious stereotypes.
Didn't you just call Perez a whiny, self centered brat? Don't you think that's a vicious stereotype?

I understand Portia's feelings. In every industry there is the possibility that the individual person who is doing the hiring/firing may be homophobic. The shop I work at was just sold to a new owner and I was very nervous about revealing the fact that I have a wife to the new owner not knowing how she would react to me. Luckily the first time my wife came up naturally in conversation, no eyes were even batted.

As far as Perez Hilton goes - he is a self-serving little limelight seeking cretin.

Neil Patrick Harris, didn't EVERYONE already know he was gay from way back in his Doogie Howser days? If you have an ounce of accurate gaydar, you did.:) I got to see him perform in the revival of "Cabaret" on Broadway in Studio 54, and he is such a talented actor. I refuse to own a TV so I have not seen his recent show.

She's hoping someone, somewhere will cut her some slack.
