So glad they cut Anamaria from ANTM. Her attitude was “i’m better than everyone here”. When people act like that they don’t show their “HUMBLE” side or that there is room for growth (personal and professionally). This doesn’t work for the show. Also, she was so into herself, she didn't take constructive criticism well. Instead, she took on her 'ego-driven' attitude she portrayed vs learning the lesson she needed to learn. She's not a good student. The best reason for cutting her is not that she is just too thin, but that seeing bones come through her body is ridiculous. Her skin didn’t look healthy or plump on her arms. She had not muscle tone. It’s okay to be a zero or a 2 and be thin, but have some definition on your body. Anamaria just looked as if she starved herself vs. working out, eating right. I’m a size zero/2 in many clothes I wear and my muscle definition is strong. I’m 5’8″ and I can eat a lot and burn it off healthy. People always think I am 10-15 years younger than my age and that’s because I eat right, sometimes 1800-2200 calories a day with healthy fats and whey protein. I do a little cardio and weightlifting. The lifting weights help me burn fat fast and tone my body. I’m sick and tired of seeing models who look like they are posing for “World Hunger”. Anamaria has a beautiful face and height. She just needs to tone up her arms and legs. My legs and arms are super thin, but they are super strong and don’t flab like chicken wings when I move my arms and legs. Anytime a girl has chicken wings (stretch marks-arms/legs), it’s a huge sign of anorexia or bulimia. They never educated themselves on what to eat, the quantities or worked out much in their life. I see it everyday in NYC. It’s kind of sad, because there are not of sports centers (gyms yes), but not intermural sports groups (athletic clubs). When you work out, your body craves healthy food and drink.

Are you effing kidding me? You can this anorexic waste beautiful? Are you blind?

This was disgusting! I couldn't even finish watching the article. This was like watching a decomposing corpse in heels. What sick, twisted, demented near-sighted individual determined this was beautiful? Talk about cruelty!

You want beauty? Look at Angie Harmon! Look at Jennifer Aniston! Look at Catherine Zeta-Jones! Look at Miss. Coolness!

What ever happened to the Marilyn Monroe (lots of curves)figures being beautiful? Since when is stick thin sexy?? What guy actually wants to make love to a bag of bones? Come on people, women's figures are suppose to be healty looking, not like someone who is starving to death. Some of these too thin women actually look like prepuberty boys.
There is no shape to them and they have absolutely no breast tissue. I'm not familiar with the model that you're talking about in this blog, so I will not judge her personally, I am just commenting on women in general!

I think actually being too thin is so scary and also humiliating me a lot, when i always watched the episodes of american idol, and I think the girls are pretty for what they done and hard work they have been for the rest of the week and i really appreciated it love ya!

It's good to see that even Top Model have limits. But in general that show is not good for the self esteem of young women.
Whatever Tyra says on her chat show about empowerment, accepting yourself as you are, loving your size, shape, curves, whatever, Top Model is sending the opposite message.
They show a group of beautiful healthy girls and then criticize them for being too big! What message is that sending?
Yes you could argue that standards are different in the modeling world, but young girls aspire to be models, so they are going to take that on board and emulate it.
Even on the show that featured short girls, Tyra was constantly emphasizing the fact that the girls should look taller in their photos. What happened to being who you are? Why do a show for short girls and then tell them they must try to look taller? Isn't that kind of missing the point?

When (as in Australia's Next Top Model) a stunningly beautiful (slim and healthy) girl like winner Demelza was constantly criticized for being "too big", how can regular teenage girls ever live up to that? Because, trust me, they will try to!

Caring about the health of young girls is not "crap", and this show is irresponsible.
