Somer Thompson update: picturing clues, cops sketch murder victim's unrecovered school bags

Have you seen these pictured bags? Murder victim Somer Thompson, 7, was carrying the round, zippered lunch box with pink pig design and book tote, featuring skull, stars and hearts motif , when she was abducted in Orange Park, Florida on 10/19/09. Neither bag has turned up since Somer's body was recovered on 10/21 from a regional landfil.

Gotcha mug on the Americas Most Wanted show, huh sheriff? Good job. Bet you looked good on tv beside ol' john walsh. Maybe you should have thought about releasing the missing bags earlier when things were fresh. Now, if someone does remember, then the killer has a two week head start!
If i remember right, they filmed that episode the first weekend after the murder. They knew this since they found her body without them.
Ok, now this might be an accident but they ate too far into hollywood to know it.

its pretty clear whoever did this child wrong knew her. i think in this case you need to look at the events, the people, the kids, thier friends, and thier parents, after this so called kid spat on her way home,leads me to believe this is not a sex offender, but maybe the act of some people trying to get even. parents are some strange people to.somer seamed like a little girl who knew the drill on her reagular path home.ive seen people in my own life do some crazy stuff when it comes to thier kids even though we know all little kids are the same. some people dont see it that way. and another thing. some of these crazy remarks on here not everbody, just a few try to have some class when you are talking about a lttle person who paid the ultimate price. im mad to

All seems a little to suspicious to me. Your right, like the argument between the siblings, the neighbor what about the parents. I too feel it isn't a sex offender but someone who knew her, maybe the "siblings", the neighbor or the parents got a little too angry with her for running ahead of her siblings. I'm sure she didn't get that far ahead of her siblings and they not see anything. How old was the sister? In an area such as that with the population, surely someone say something around the house they think she was killed in and someone just isn't talking.

Whoever did this was trolling the neighborhood for a victim weeks before Somer was taken. I remember reading that a lady rescued a child near that same school. Two people in a car were trying to entice her to get in, and she was crying hysterically. The lady almost ran over her. She then walked home with the kid until she was safely with her parents. Too bad the lady didn't get the license plate number. I think she gave a description of the car though. Next I heard the police said they had eliminated that incident as relating to Somer and I never, EVER understood that!
