What a crock. Much better/more talented singers than Michael (and I thought my homeboy was great) cram and clutter the lower lounges and casino bar stages in every casino on both strips. And even in their alleged 'family entertainment' phase (now long gone) no casino in Vegas would touch a pre-teen Jackie as a headliner. The gist this year was 'HEADLINING VEGAS ACT'. Neither fit at all. We go to Vegas every October since '86, and hands down Prince Poppycock or Gravity should have been the final 2, period. AGT has caught Idol disease - popularity/cuteness/sob story over reality. I won't waste time on next season.

This is what happens when 13 yr old girls have cell phones ... pretty Grimm
Jackie should have wone easily, Grimm is not in the same league.
Anyone else think Jackie sang better than the infamous Sarah Brightman? I did, and I love Sarah Brightman

You can't compare an opera singer with a soul/rock singer. That's apples and oranges. I'm glad Grimm won. I voted for him and I'm not a 13 year old girl with a cellphone. I'd pay to see him perform. Personally I don't think minors should be allowed to participate in the first place. I don't care how good they are.

Your ability to evaluate talent is 0 ... Grimm is no where near in the league of Lionel Ritchey ... not even in the same ballpark ... while Jackie Evancho went toe to toe with the leading opera singer in Sarah Brightman ... and I actually think Jackie was better, and I love Sarah Brightman ... and I'm not the only one who witnessed it, and have said so.
No one is claiming Grimm lip sank ... with claims his talent is too unbelievable ... That is exactly what many people say about Jackie ...
I would say Grimms victory is due to the teen and tweens who texted their votes in ... more teens and tweens texted their votes than those over 50 ... and Grimm is the one contestant that teens and tweens could most relate too ... This is the result of minors voting ... and that is the problem ... not minors competing.

Where do you get off telling me I have no ability to evaluate talent? I've been a singer/musician most of my life. You are nothing more than a snobby douchebag opera fan. I never said Grimm was in a class with Lionel Ritchie but Grimm is a very good soul/rock singer that absolutely deserved to win. There are people out there that know more about opera than you that don't agree with your assessment of Jackie's talents. As for my remark about banning participants under the age of 18, I addressed that in another thread in the AGT forum. I will not repeat it here and frankly, I don't care about the opinion of a pompous a$$ like you. Anyone that can't debate an issue without insulting the opposing person is a very weak, insecure person.

Been in music all of 13 years have you?... Jackie at age 10 is competing directly and admirably with one of the the best opera singers in the world ... Grimm can not compete with the best rock singers ... not even close ... You see where your talent assessment falls woefully short of adequate? Evidently not ... your intelligence falls short as well.
