Boyd left allot of unanswered questions when he passed.
Turns out Boyd's Hot Rods and Collectibles was sued in California state court on May 9th, 2008 for Fraud, breach of contract, breach of good faith, recission and other charges.
Boyd's took the victim's money and used it to pay for everything but the victims car.
On June 4th, 2008 Jo Coddington and Boyd's legal counsel failed to appear in court. Therefore the victim won by default.
As to the seriousness of the fraud charges the judge in the case has authorized an investigation into what appears to be shady book keeping at Boyd's.
