i'm 44 and grew up with variety shows, its a good thing it was on around thanksgiving cause it sure was a TURKEY!! variety shows formula was they had acts you couldnt see everyday! everyone on her show is available in their own format and they are all much better than they were here! what variety? almost everyone was an nbc property!, where was the BIG star power? nothing unique and a big yawn for anyone that remembers the old days. after it was over, i put in one of my ed sullivan tapes and watched some real variety!! sorry rosie but the format is dead.
