apart from FOX's Dollhouse and Virtuality - this little gem of a cast has me most excited!!! The Guardian's fab Simon Baker and Prison Break's biggest star Robin Tunney. also, glad to see Owain Yeoman as a regular in a more deserving role than his stint on Terminator: TSCC. but I'm a bit dissapointed that amongs these stars we find Amanda Righetti - was never a fan;

"The Mentalist" reminds me of something Tina Fey said at an awards banquet when "30 Rock" and "Studio 60" were on at the same time: "Aaron Sorkin was planning to wear this same dress here tonight, only twice as long and not funny." Two shows, same premise, one entertaining, one condescending, one renewed, one not. Any questions?

Extremely disappointed and angry not to see Moonlight on CBS' fall schedule. It was well done with a good looking and talented cast. Moonlight's replacement, The Ex-List, sounds like a second rate television show that I wouldn't waste 10 seconds on.

None of these shows sounded interesting to me at all. Even if I wasn't holding a grudge against CBS for cancelling Moonlight, I would probably not watch any of these new shows. I only watched 3 shows on CBS this past season: Moonlight, Amazing Race, and Survivor. B/C of my unhappiness with the cancelling of Moonlight, I might just give up all those shows b/c I'll just think about Moonlight and get depressed everytime I turn to CBS.

Ha! Nice one, Mike. I wish I could argue. All I can say about Balfour in the trailer for "Ex List" is that he's playing a self-absorbed ass. And it may just be the part he was born to play...
As for the Marley Shelton issue, I had the exact same question and asked several CBS people point-blank if she's being recast. I was told no. That doesn't necessarily mean anything, but I *did* ask...
