i am not defending the actions that she has taken, however in fairness she is a target now. you know for sure that if a cop sees her they are going to do what ever they can to pull her over. she does have a huge problem, and hopefully she will get help.
She should be a target! The best thing a cop could do is get her off the road. She has a suspended license and a pending DUI charge. As a police officer, I know most DUI arrests are not a one time incident. I just hope she gets a good punishment...not a Hollywood punishment.

While she is a legal adult now and definitely knows better the fact remains that she is another teen star who was overworked, unsupervised, and left (it would appear) to her own devices in an environment of excess that no child should have access to.
She is now legally responsible for her own actions with no apparent history of accountability. Sadly she will now learn the hard way as an adult what most of us learned before a criminal record became part of our histories.
Target? Hopefully I missed the sarcasm. Posession of coke and a pickled liver in a 'heated' discussion with someone at 1:30 a.m.-- she wasn't a target so much as the broad side of a barn that the LAPD had to deal with.

It is reprehensible that Ms. Lohan is not in jail awaiting her hearing. The average "Non-Star" person who has been arrested for drinking under the influence; and a minor at that who is a habitual and repeat offender would not be whisked away to a rehab facility - for a third time; they would be incarcerated in one of the states lovely hotels with 3 hots and a cot.
That the law enforcement agencies, the court systems and district attorney in Los Angeles all look the other way because of her "star status" should be deemed illegal as well.
Why are these agencies; who are supposed to be keeping all citizens safe from alcohol and drug abusers- who continue to defy the rules of the road molly coddle these juvenile delinquents?
I would also ask why the California state liquor board has not shut down every bar, nightclub, lounge, restaurant and /or liquor store who have willingly and knowingly served alcohol to minors ( not just Lohan )? Tell you what I think - because they get free pubilicity. Which only serves to attract more of the same. The owners, managers and servers at these establishments should be charged for breaking the law as well as contributing to the delinquency of minors and more importantly, public endangerment.
It is long overdue for the government in the state of California AND California city leaders to act on this travesty. Start treating these little "darlings" and their enablers like every other citizen who breaks the law. Like the criminals they are.
The message these incidents send to the youth across the United States is as dangerous as it is irresponsible.
What is the matter with the population in California? Save the planet but not if it means Lindsay or Brit can't play dress up and party with the big kids?

Talent? Surely they jest!

Of course she's going to carry her friends' drugs...she's a Hollywood celeb and above the law. She'll get out of this one way or another.

I have NO sympathy for her sorry ass!

Lohan's not a minor anymore, as of July 2nd, 2007. Her 21st birthday. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindsey_Lohan

She's a legal adult responsible for her own actions, which she seems completely oblivious to, unfortunately.

Hey!You guys who keep posting "who cares", you do care, otherwise, you wouldn't be on this forum! This is a serious matter and Lindsay needs our prayers right at this moment, otherwise, Lindsay could go on hurting herself or others around her unintentionally, as a result of her alcohol and drug addictions. She is crying out for help folks! She's on national TV and maybe even gone world-wide indirectly pleading for our help, S.O.S. or SAVE ME!God willing, Lindsay will get the help she desperately needs at this moment and time in her life and my prayers are with her and her family for a speedy recovery and hopefully Lindsay will learn her lesson not to abuse alcohol and drugs any longer!

LOL - maybe that will be the basis of next week's arrest- or tomorrow's - after all, she is out on bail.

Forgive me, O Tiger, but I'd rather waste my prayers on you, in the event you happen to be standing in the street the next time she pulls out of her driveway coked and drunked up.

That's why there is such a thing as "prayer" and we mustn't give up on our younger generation and allow them to just fail and not help them pick up the pieces.I'm no fan of Lindsay, but her story is compelling and folk's we're in this fight together to help our younger generation with thier alcohol and drug addicitions!Prayer is desperateley needed for Lindsay and her family and friends/fans need to be praying for her.

We need to pray for one another folks!Bottom line, our younger generation's lives are at stake here and they are crying out for help indirectly because someone like Lindsay is ashamed to cry out directly and is too proud! It's time to flush out the toxins and poisons from our younger folks who continue to abuse acohol and drugs repeatedly at their parents expense and the tax payers expense. It's ok to have a beer once in a while, but drink in moderation don't drink to your heart content is my message about acohol use.As for drugs, i've never used drugs, but sounds like drugs are worse than alcohol and why resort to drug use when it's been scientifically proven that drugs kill your brain cells.Prayer is desperately needed for today's younger generation who choose to use alocohol and drugs then go out and hurt themselves and others around them unintentionally without a care in the world. That's not cool folks, that's sick and prayer is the remedy now!
