I guess Ms. Lohan didn't reciever the memo that you can't call a black person colored anymore.

Re: What to call a Black person

You must refer to a black person as African-American. But you can call them a person of color, but not a colored person.

People, People, People. Ms Lohan is technically correct. Because of the mixture of the 2 maybe more racial blood types President Elect Obama even in his home country would be concidered as coloured. It is only in America where such a thing would be made into a big issue. That is because we are sometimes ignorant. Maybe Ms Lohan knew exactly what she was saying.

We are all 'colored' people. Cindy McCain is the only true 'white' person.

Lohan probably wasn't happy when the DNC rejected her offer to be a cheerleader for Obama. They just didn't want "that kind" of publicity.

It saddens me that she started out as a positive Disney role model. But, the problem with using celebrity status to make money is that "it's easy money". All you have to do is a little dance for the rich people and they pay you for it.

Sooner or later the money runs out and people start tiring of you. That's when you either have to get a real job like everyone else, or become a hollywood whore and instead of doing a dance, you bend over for the highest bidder.

Hollywood is the biggest child exploit racket in the world, next to the political Texas child kidnapping ring.

KILIMANYOKA, Congo-- The road that leads into rebel-controlled Congo begins with a makeshift roadblock made from the corpses of government soldiers strewn across the dark volcanic earth.
The scene was meant as a warning to government troops just a few hundred yards down the road whom the rebels had battled the night before. And for the few fearful civilians trickling past the frontline, it was clear message that Congo's savage war is not easing amid fears it could draw in Angola and others in the region.
Years of sporadic violence in eastern Congo intensified in August, and fighting between the army and fighters loyal to rebel leader Laurent Nkunda has displaced at least 250,000 people since then -- despite the presence of the largest U.N. peacekeeping force in the world.

They should change NAACP to NAAAAP...It would be more fitting. That pronunciation would probably be "NAP", with the emphasis on the long "A".

Actually, the term African American is out-dated too. Not all black people come from Africa... and if you say that somewhere along their family tree someone did come from Africa, then following the idea of evolution and the primordial soup.. we all came from Africa. Keep it as simple as black and white.
