Republican strategist Karl Rove shot down suggestions that the GOP is in a downward spiral towards irrelevance during a segment on ABC's This Week .

As number of minorities increase and racists---the base of GOP, become fewer, the GOP will slink further into irrelevance.

It is not just for kicks that the Republican party is trying to make itself look like something it is not in order to survive, and the deception is further tearing the party apart.

Look for at least one new party to spring from the GOP. Maybe they can call it the Confederate Party.

The GOP is dog meat in California with Democratic supermajorities in both state houses and the governorship. That's 10% of the country, folks, and California leads the nation in many trends beneficial to the populace as opposed to beneficial to big banks, big oil, or big bigotry.

Are you a "good Republican?"

Do you believe in equality, freedom of religion, and free enterprise?
Do you believe in "Truth, Justice and the American Way"?
Do you think the USA needs a strong middle class?

There is a home for you in the DEMOCRATIC PARTY.
Time for you to leave the mental dustbowl.

30 republican governors in the US now, those states starting to show progress......

The left calling for banning of parts of the constitution, destroying capitalism and America, destroying the middle class taxpapyers so everyone can be on public dole and keeping minorities in that position, victimism, Subjugation of our National Defense to the UN, only left judges make decisions even though a majority of voters approved/disapproved a policy, continue the class war they created.....then you belong in the demorat party.

If your for a free America, stong middle class with growing businesses, then go republican. Republican governors are taking the more difficult approach in the short term but one that will yield far better results over time. They are not just slowing spending increases. They are cutting state programs that arenít working, as well as reducing overhead and administrative expenses.

Thatís why, for example, Texas generates many private sector jobs and California and New York do not. Citizens of Illinois have to wonder whether the jobs created in the future will move to more tax-friendly neighbors.

Middle class....billy boy.you're a riot.

Are you a person that believes that either party has the answers? Do you adhere to one party exclusively? If so, you are a non thinking idiot destined to be led off a cliff by one of these self serving parties.

Both sides erroneously say that. It's pretty easy to see that both parties are nothing more than self perpetuating power bases. Both sides put party in front of country in all instances. Independent = the lesser of all evils.

But I live in the real world, with degrees of evil.
The Devil controls the 'religious right.'
Compromise and co-option are part of the real world.
"Both sides" run our country. Deal with it.

Even with simpletons who believe what Hannity and Rush say.

Read 2 Peter 2.

I can't believe you watch Hannity. That guy is so idiotically predictable that I turn the channel the minute I see his face, much like when Chris Mathews comes on. If you wanna call believing con men compromise, knock yourself out. Your "real world" is too full of boogymen and devils to be taken seriously. You have that in common with Hannity and Mathews.

Rove spent a lot on money to knock off legal voters. it worked in 2000, and he was sure he spent enough to work again; but the turnout overwhelmed his 'fix.'

Rove spends a lot of money to "knock off" legal voters while the Ds spend a lot of money to get illegal voters to the polls. If you think our elections are on the up and up you're dreaming.

What the hell did you just say? Do you always go incoherent when somebody says anything against your party? You party partisans are what's wrong with this country. The parties don't care about this country. Both parties suck. Anyone so gullible to take either parties side consistently shouldn't be taken seriously. That seems to be you.

I said "...while the Ds spend a lot of money to get illegal voters to the polls..." is a stupid, vapid lie. Moronic. Is it your stupid, moronic lie?
