No one whispers about it anymore. There's no need for dark theaters where furtive men skulk with guilt and damp handkerchiefs.

Is it ruining it? The answer is no. But it is definitely changing the sexual landscape. I would say for the better.

Who can possibly think that skulking around whispering guilty thoughts can be called healthy. Glad to see that it is coming out into the light of day where it can be confronted freely and openly.

It is a new enlightened outlook, and our younger generations can only benefit from it.

You're confusing porn with sex. An more enlightened attitude toward sex would be great, but porn isn't the thing to do it. Porn is the commoditization of sex, not a celebration of it.

I am not confusing anything. Porn is as it always has been a tool for the disemmination of sexual information. Porn puts out to the public the various sides of the human sexual nature, and displays it for all to see. You can pick and choose what you like but it is a source of validation for those who have been going around thinking they were the only ones with these thoughts in their heads.

It is also a great sexual leveler - a means for masturbatory stimulation. when you consider all the cases of rape you hear on the news, I would be willing to say that the statistics would be many many times worse if men were not using porn as a means of auto-gratification.

Just sayin'.

A lot of what I've heard about porn's effect on ideas today is that a lot more people having a lot more exposure to porn is kind of skewing their sexual expectations.
It's like, if all the sexual knowledge you have comes from porn, that may be what you expect out of life.
