But city leaders say they are being careful about inviting a reality TV crew to Vicco because of concerns over whether a show would paint the tiny Appalachian town in a positive light.

I fully support the fairness ordinance, but I think that the reality television show ideas are stupid. I don't know anyone who resides in Vicco, and approves of it. Regardless of what baloney that the producers might tell people about portraying the city in a positive way, I wouldn't believe them. Have you ever seen a reality show that portrayed small towns in a positive way? I haven't, and I've seen many reality shows. People watch reality shows to laugh at the people on them, sadly. Viewers would laugh just seeing trailers in Vicco. I can't believe that people would actually consider doing a reality show in Vicco. Do they even care about who it will affect?
