There were two parts to the news segment. The first was about paying more and getting less at the grocery store which Sue was reporting. Then there was a second part because the video had the cruise ship. They were supposed to report that a woman had gone overboard off a cruise ship and still hadn't been found. Who was supposed to report that? Sue or Chuck? Why didn't the mic go to Chuck? Who and what was Sue mad about?

There is no freedom of speech that covers maladroit ignorance.

She was angry for sure. That is obvious.

The FCC has to fine her and the station for allowing the obcenity and the "mistake" to be aired.

Obviously the woman has no decorum or human skills.

And she needs to learn to follow the rule, If you don't have something nice to say then keep your mouth shut.

And TALLY LIGHTS are a part of the world of broadcasting. Use them.

I know everyone keeps saying "your kids shouldn't be up that late anyways...blah blah.." but i live in the southwest and this comes on satelite. it was only 8:00. also, sure everyone has the right to swear if they want to. but who was she speaking with in such a harsh tone as that?? it wasn't only the fact that she used the word, but that she directed it so rudely at another person

The only news that I watch at 11 pm is Channel 4 because I like Sue Simmons and Chuck Scarborough. There are other channels with very good anchors but Sue Simmons, even tho she's reading the news, is vibrant and give life to them. So please don't judge her on that word. As someone said, there's so many things to be worried about, like the earthquakes happening right now. PLEASE LEAVE SUE SIMMONS ALONE!! She is an asset to NBC..
