Sid Olsen IS William Devane (I think), but I cannot find any confirmation anywhere on the Web. IMDB does not list Devane in the credits for the episode "Something My Gynocolgist Said". And I can't find anything anywhere that says so, but I'm pretty sure its Devane. And his cameo role as huckster Sid Olsen is fabulous. I'd really like to see him in a recurring role on the show. His dispeptic humor is classic. The guy's a real pro.

According to Entertainment Weekly it's Jon Cryer. Found on EW.com

Susie, if EW is correct, it is eerie how the made up Cryer came across as an older Devane.
