There is absolutely nothing transparent about anything Obama or his administration does.

This in NOT anything new, this has been going on since I am aware of since 1981, over the years it just got more Hi-tech.
To Spy on anyone in the USA is easier than ever before, we have so many spooks listening you would be shocked.
NSA,DCS,ISA,MI,NRO,CIA,DIA,PDI D,LEIU,CNIN,ASA,NI,the list of covert operations is endless. All have the capabilities of snooping on your mail, phones, SAT-Phones, all electronic measures.
Both domestic and international surveillance and eavesdropping are basic everyday occurring. Most are so compartmentalized that A does not know what B is going, security is of the utmost importance, making sure that (ONLY) at the end see all the data and put it together. I can recall even listening in on Judges, Political staff, even other Law Enforcement agencies and Organized Crime Figures to even include inside Stock and board member's as well as competing spy's.
Do not think for a minute this has stopped it just got darker now that this bump has been exposed.
You make it sound like there's some actual law enforcement going on there!

Personally, I'd say that it's been going on since before 1981 by a long shot, but it's been far more than the targeting of criminal and political activity. There's an extensive effort to engage in population control covertly, both on a group level and at an individual level.

I'd love to share observations, but obviously that would attract the riff-raff trolls who deny it just so they can annoy others. Then there's the ambitious who benefit from the practice, and finally, there's the political factor, whereby the marginalized who have been harassed are only made into political trashcans by exploiting their unwanted status and their lack of mainstream credibility.

This CAN be taken advantage of by inventing a discussion that puts the trolls in a metaphorical crucible, and then tormenting them with a group effort to discredit the perceived image of "street-smarts" and conventional wisdom. That kind of behavior attracts those of a dog pack mentality and things are self-propelled from there!

The problem is....

Who here knows the difference between the real Big Brother and tabloid sucker bait?
