Well, you seem to.

You cared enough to try to discredit him by calling him a "rube".

How's it feel knowing that this "rube" can buy and sell you ten times over?

Eleven million people watch this show weekly. I am going to have to tune in and see what I am missing.

I live in indiana. If I want the bellicose redneck view of abortion, I'll go outside and walk 10 feet in any direction.

Jefferson never said anything about abirtio0n, which was legal in every nascent state.

""You have a God-given right to live inside your mother."""

Is he referencing the god from the book authored by mere men? Written directly from their imagination? That treats women as property and brood mares? That puts men the head of women?

1 Corinthians 11
King James Version (KJV)

3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.

9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

YEP...thought so!

Isn't it cute how they glorify themselves?

My guess; probably. In any case, I hadn't heard of this "Duck Dynasty" program before now or this Phil Robertson guy. "A God-given right to live inside your mother?" Geez, he sounds like another Ted Nugent. We all know what a moron THAT guy is, and this one is no different, as far as I'm concerned.

ICK...Ted Nugent is a flaming coward. He needs to hide behind a gun.

I found this funny:

24. If you believe that Ted Nugent is a great statesman and a good candidate for president, then you almost certainly are not reading this column. Or books. Or gum wrappers.

It is funny, and I couldn't agree more.

What's scary is that there are so many brain-dead, anti-choice imbeciles running for office and worse, getting ELECTED.

Knock yourself out. I as a woman do not trust any man who claims "godly", just means male superiority and patriarchy to me.

And not without reason...:)

Men who claim to be godly are generally doing so to create an authority they lack, left to their own devices. Of course, some women do that as well...phyllis schlafley comes to mind.

Ugh, Phyllis Schlafly.

She practiced feminism while denouncing it. A hypocrite to the core.

Yep. Sarah Palin is exactly like Schlafly; practicing feminism while she publicly trashes it. She's just younger...for now.:-)

The both of them are simply self promoting and have no concern about the "people" or any other woman but themselves. Hypocrisy rules their world.

What if he said Phil's wife was godly, would you have the same response?

If she is a submissive subservient sucker for patriarchy...Yep!

Anymore questions? I don't think I have ever hid my displeasure with religious nutcases, male or female.

And how have you determined that the poster is a nutcase?
