Syria is not the target, Iran is. All of this is nothing more than an attempt to wage a larger war.

Look, Iran and Syria have a defensive pact. Any strike by the US onto or into Syria leaves Iran obligated to come to the assistance of Syria. This will in turn all the US to enter into Iran as it has been wanting to do since the CIA overthrew Mosedek in 1953 when Mosedek tried to nationalize Iranian oil fields ad take it out of the hands of Standard Oil and BP.

Iran is the 3rd largest oil producer in the world and controls the #1 oil chokepoint in the world with the strait of Hormuz.

The US has been trying to get into Iran after their puppet was thrown out in 1979 and the multinational oil companies lost control of the oil fields.

Since the US cannot enter Iran without a pretext like an Iranian attack against the US, the US has to use Syria to instigate that conflict.

People tend to forget that it was Cheney that wanted to use Navy seals in the Persian Gulf to attack a US Navy ship while flying Iranian colors as a pretext to invade Iran. The Navy told Cheney to go shove it. But it shows yet again how far they will go to get into Iran.

However, Syria was just armed this past week with Russian state of the art anti ship missiles and the Russians have moved several warships into the waters near Syria.

If the US Strikes, this thing will blow up big. And we will lose. The US is far to spread out and has no money to fight a larger war involving Syria, Iran, and Russia. And who knows what China will do since China receives their oil from Iran.

Nope, That one was strictly on the Iranian people turning to a charismatic religious leader who in turn used that for their own personal gain to obtain control.

Sorry...incorrect..

Giving radical Islam its start

Recently Jimmy Carter was on television, denouncing President Bush’s policies in Iraq. I find this highly ironic, because Jimmy Carter and his liberal advisers helped the Ayatollah Khomeini to come to power in Iran a quarter of a century ago. Thus they gave radical Islam control of its first major state.

Book: Clinton's State told Benghazi was a 'terrorist attack' minutes after it began

Just minutes after 35 jihadists crashed through the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, nearly one year ago, the facility got word to the State Department, FBI and Pentagon that terrorists were attacking, according to a forthcoming book that provides the fullest review of the assault to date.

In “Under Fire, the Untold Story of the Attack in Benghazi,” it is revealed that an unidentified security official in the Benghazi compound protecting Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens messaged the U.S. embassy in Tripoli:“Benghazi under fire, terrorist attack.” Stevens and three others died that night.

Twenty-five minutes after it began, the operation center at State received an electronic cable announcing the attack, according to authors Fred Burton, a former State Diplomatic Security agent and Samuel Katz, an author and expert on international special operations and counterterrorism.
