That's not in the Constitution. And it's not Christian.

Our creator was God. God, a Christian God brought the founders to America, and guided their writings, and everything about this country. Not Allah, not some group of shiftless politicians, God. If you hadn't gone to free Union school you would have learned that fact. But you hang back with the public school people.

Can you give some examples of important Constitutional principles guided by God?

Historic records like the Treaty of Tripoli?

The Bible says all things are created by God. So gays and lesbians are part of God's plan.

I suggest you re-read the Book of Job and pay attention to God's answer to his vanity when he questions God's plans.

Then why do you ignore God's Word?

Using readily verifiable, non-ontological evidence, can you prove such a creator exists?

The law says otherwise. The word Christian does not appear in the Constitution.

You lose.

Kinda obvious, really, Tell me, what law school did you not get into?

You entirely miss the point. None of that is relevant.

The Constitution and the cases interpreting it are relevant.

Like most fundamenalist right wing ignorant phucktards, you've read the Cliff Notes version of the Constitution and never studied the case law.

So you actually have no idea how very wrong you are.

We are not saying that people who call themselves gay are not human, we are saying that they have made a deviant choice.
If you do not like to hear that then keep your lifestyle out of our living rooms, out of the media and out of our neighborhoods.
Do you eat bats or rats? Many do and love it, but I bet you have no tolerance for that choice.
You lost any hope for credibility when you referred to homosexuality as a "choice".

"Christian nation" my left gonad! Most of the founding fathers were deists, who envisioned a universal creator that did not meddle in our day-to-day lives. These people were free thinkers who dismissed the Christian bible as rubbish.

The vikings settled North America in 1005. After landing here with livestock, supplies and between 100 and 300 settlers, they set up the first successful European American colony ... for two years. And then the Native Americans kicked their ass out of the country, shooting the head viking in the heart with an arrow.
.
There was no such thing as a 'bible' in 1005. The Catholics who created it were not born yet

Still standing today we are protected by the 1948 United States Supreme Court McCollum vs Board of Education decision; 'separation means separation; not something less':
.
++++++++++
We find that the basic Constitutional principle of absolute Separation was violated when the State of Illinois, speaking through its Supreme Court, sustained the school authorities of Champaign in sponsoring and effectively furthering religious beliefs by its educational arrangement.
.
Separation means separation, not something less. Jefferson's metaphor in describing the relation between Church and State speaks of a "wall of separation," not of a fine line easily overstepped. The public school is at once the symbol of our democracy and the most pervasive means for promoting our common destiny. In no activity of the State is it more vital to keep out divisive forces than in its schools, to avoid confusing, not to say fusing, what the Constitution sought to keep strictly apart. "The great American principle of eternal separation" -- Elihu Root's phrase bears repetition -- is one of the vital reliances of our Constitutional system for assuring unities among our people stronger than our diversities. It is the Court's duty to enforce this principle in its full integrity.
.
We renew our conviction that:
.
"we have staked the very existence of our country on the faith that complete separation between the state and religion is best for the state and best for religion."
.
If nowhere else, in the relation between Church and State, "good fences make good neighbors."

It's from the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution. You're aware that they're two different documents, right?
