My, it's been too long. There is so much to say. I should be a more devoted fan, but I throughly enjoy the show. NO...I do NOT live in Louisiana, but in the booming metro of Orlando,Fl. Congrats for the upcoming stage role. Without doubt, justice shall be served. I am interested in coming that way to see it. Only a hop and a skip with a friend of mine can make it so. I am beyond proud of you, Dan.
I haven,t spoken to any one from that era lately but, often dream of each of them and either laugh out loud, or simply smile.
This may all be wasted space, I suppose we'll see. Again, JOB WELL DONE MY FRIEND!!!!!!

Daniel does not have stalkers, however thats what he would like for you to believe. Daniel has women he has used, lied to and deceived by acting as though he was single. Denying his girlfriend of several years to these poor unsuspecting girls. The guy is a liar! Some men cheat, but Daniel abuses!!!!!

oh lord! i wish we would stop giving men so much power by moaning about being victimized by circumstances that 99% of the time WE CREATED OURSELVES. to my eyes, the posts like this that i have seen read as bitterness and spite (yes, another stereotype we girls do too much to encourage and reinforce by our stupid choices). ladies, if you gave it up, then its ultimately your fault if you got played. period. tighten up ya bra-straps and move on!! otherwise you ARE a stalker, and also condemned to one miserable existence being caught up in the past with some man who sure ain't thinking about you in the present! oh....anybody know if rescue me is coming back? they shoot in my neighborhood sometimes, but the only cast i have seen so far have been denis leary and steve pasquale and the guy who dates the nun in season three =^(

I agree with both parties about their opinions as far as Daniel. The comment about him being an abuser is a strong statement. Perhaps this individual was lied to by him or knows someone who was and is hurt. I also do agree that women play a part in getting themselves involved in these types of relationships. which means we really should stop to look inside ourselves and ask why we allow these men in our lives. However, in defense of the "abused", they must've not have known all personal details of Mr. Sunjata's life. And we actually don't know if the involvement was their own or a friends. WE do not know the details, so we can not undermine this persons feelings. I am assuming it is a woman, and it saddens me to see how other women come down so hard on their own. What happened to sticking together? Instead of belittling this persons feelings, why can't it be that you offer support and encouragement. Im just trying to be fair to all...

Why encourage dysfunction? Especially when it is voiced in the form of vague character assaults on a quasi-celebrity? For all we know its just lies and innuendo. I know nothing about Daniel Sunjata, but I am not going to take my ques from a bitter person posting anonymously on some forum post board. Sorry. I calls em like I see em. And again, anyone know about the fate of the best show on T.V.?=-) I hope its not cancelled, but with the writer's strike, you never know.

I hear they are back in production now but that the show won't be back on TV till 2009. For now we'll just have to console ourselves with reruns and boxed sets of DvDs from seasons 1-4 BooHOO!! As for the hateration being posted about Daniel, that's kinda odd if you ask me. I never hear anything but glowing comments and praise about the man as a human being and as an actor. People will write all manner of craziness about celebrities, especially on the internet. IMO, even if he has done some dirt, who among us has not? Just makes him human I guess, like the rest of us.

You people are really clinically insane. How about ALL THAT IS BLOGGED IS NOT TRUE? Maybe you should change your motto :) Daniel glitters for sure and does indeed happen to be gold, although the world seems slow in catching onto that fact. The real story here is that this guy is a phenomenal performer and I wonder why he is so underrated and over looked by hollywood? It is a shame really. With his combo of looks, charisma, and talent he should really be at the top of the game I think. I have seen him in only three roles but he was amazing in all three and they were all totally different characters right down to the accent! Maybe I need to quit working and become an agent lol. Mr. Sunjata if you ever read this stuff (and I hope you don't because of all the idiocy written here) please give me a j-o-b. I don't want to work for Diddy, I want to work for Sunjata! Hahahaaa. I heard Daniel's recent speech to benefit 9/11 First responas in New York. It is really inspiring. Too bad the economy is exploding like this. We may never know any truth but what they like to tell us in tv world. Thank you for speaking Daniel.

I think this guy is one of the few young actors alive who has enough talent and range to dominate the hollywood scene for decades to come. I wonder why Hollywood has been so slow to take note of his talent, especially when couched in such dramatic physical beauty? He is the best thing about Rescue Me and was absolutely fantastic as Reggie Jackson in Bronx Is Burning. My favorite role of his would have to be James Holt in Devil Wears Prada though. Its my favorite movie that he has been in. Also I admire so much his social activism and political awareness. More celebs could learn a thing or two from his example maybe? Of course there will always be detractors and haters out there but it's obvious to anyone with a mind that this guy is the real deal on many levels. Love him!!!

Yeah he's ok but maybe you should work for the guy or something with all that crazed enthusiasm? "dominate the hollywood scene"?? I mean come on. There's much more famous and talented in the industry who still have a hard time. So yeah he should get props but lets keep it in perspective maybe a little? My thoughts

I'm shocked of all the comments about daniel, I thought I was the only one having to live the emotional pain. I have been living with this horrible feeling for a long time without being able to get closure because of this man. Looking at the post gives me a sense letting the truth out and relief in some way. Daniel and I dated for about a year till I found out the gruesome truth of his cruel,and unloving nature. It creeps me out that in the public eye the man plays to be someone of truth, dedication, advocacy, and "realness". I fell for the guy that the public loves and adore. I also fell into a depression for months after finding and speaking to Rosalba myself on the telephone. At the time I had just turn 21 and didn't think that a man like the charismatic Daniel could lay you down say I love you passionately and be lying! He would say come to chicago and meet my dad etc, come stay in my hotel while I film, have deep conversations about him being adopted, his two daughters etc. I thought we had a deep connection. It's def a part of my life that I wish I could erase but then again it made me a stronger and a wiser woman. I feel bad for rosabla though; his long time girl. when I spoke with her she exclaimed "you are talking about my man", and that she walks the red carpet with him. I thought to myself wow thats all Daniel has to offer her.( when speaking with her she valued the red carpet events as though it was a grand investment) Rosalba and Daniel don't even live together, she has no ring on her finger and they've been together since before his debut on the play "Take me Out". Thats about seven years. I can't believe she stands for that in this day and age.(take control and value yourself) I also found out he has many girls one basically for everyday of the week! Oh god I'm glad I got out of it when I discovered his ugly being. Though I still have a battle scar.
BTW this is the truth just in case if you just met the man and are trying to find out the truth about who he really is...
Too lighten the situation he has tons of wrinkle cream on his bathroom sink, derma blend, strivecten anti-aging you name it, its like straight up sephora in the bathroom. Thats as much laugh I can get.
