God is good, but just be sure not to take Him too literally

I believe, as a Christian, in a loving, merciful God who wants us to be connected peacefully to one another.

BUT

I also believe, as a realist, that human beings wrote the Bible and continue to run religion today. Maybe they had good in their hearts to begin with, but human beings cannot do ANYTHING without installing some of their personal vendetta into it. That is why the Bible and the modern church are full of contradictions and disgusting things justified by "divine right."

You go to the Doc. The Doc says you have 10 years to live,,, ok you will probably get up and think about it for a while and that would be the end of it... OK

Now what if the Doc. said Bob you have 5 yrs to live, now you will probably think and chane the way you look at things some what.

Now the Doc says, Bob you only have 1 yr to live, now we are talking alot of things Bob needs to do and see before dieing....OK

What if he Doc said, you only have 1 week to live, I guarantee you wouldnt go to work the next day, you would not worry about the little things in life, it would definatley change Bobs life style.

Our sould will live forever, weather in Heaven or Hell no other place to go. No one gets a free pass to Heaven. Hell has a free pass.

I managed mine quite well so far, keeping my distance from weak reeds like faith belief hope and wishful thinking. What is is, works best I think

As one who sees Karma as the most reasonable explanation of the human/spiritual situation, I'm more concerned with my behavior and attitude during this life so I may advance in the next cycle. I must have done pretty good last life, cause this one has been a trip and a half. There's little I've missed, and yet my health is perfect, still got all my hair. I have no problem distinguishing right from wrong, totally different than making a mistake, example: the speed limit is 25 and Im doing 35 and get a ticket, I did wrong.

Jesus didnt come here and take the beating like he did and die for you to escape the reallity of it. Every knee will bow and every tounge will confess that he is Lord... even you. today you might not see it, but you will.
